most gta crim comms are useless clutter. see how literally everythin i say in the clip vali reacts 2
fix your comms: π
1. call main comms on corners. this is the #1 comm that wins chases. tell ur driver what primary can see when U take a corner. NO EYES, SAW THAT, SEES U 1/4

Wanna know what it looks like to be in a chase?
We're dealing with frame skips, bubbles, lag, all of the above. A car that my pilot sees driving down the road? I see it jumping off a ramp onto a road below us. And neither of us know which way they actually went until the lag catches up and we can see them zooming off.
It's really hard, and yet, we're still doing our best, clocking in everyday. We try to go along with silly shenanigans and we try to do all we can to support everyone's rp while also doing our jobs.
The mods, admins and devs have all been doing everything they can to help us. We as a team are doing everything we can to keep each other positive. At the end of the day, please remember that this is a game, and we're all pilots playing with our barbie dolls in it.
Love. Live. LSPD.
I'm writing this as a heartfelt ask, not as a way to point or blame. Please just give PD a break - this year the server is chaotic.
There are so many more people in the server, and so many new features. This enevitably has lead to server instability, crashes, and HUGE bubbles at no blame to the boy's or their team (who are doing an insane amount of work behind the scene to keep things running and make things better).
This is frustrating a lot of people in the server, so please understand this frustation is magnified tenfold on the PD side where we literally can't perform our "job" or RP. A lot of people can still walk around and do their thing, like RP, or rob packages or atms, with some level of delay. PD is reactive, we quite literally can't do anything, and are expected to do EVERYTHING at the exact same time, like taxi-ing people across the city, or commiting to supporting your RP of jumping on a police car and yelling "LALALA".
Look at this video and understand what we have to work with. We're doing our best to give people fun chases - not win and catch everyone, but give RP and chases that are fun to watch and be a part of. We're doing our best despite what we're working with.
I keep hearing chatters and streamers, OOC, saying "the cops this year suck," and I keep seeing chatters carrying this sentiment across spaces. Please stop. It's breaking us.

PLEASE be understanding and support the PD players.
Iβve personally worked alongside alot of the PD members and they are amazing. Once the bubbles and server settles yall see. They are a force to be reckoned with π«‘
I hope #districtv2 viewers and players will get to see it πΊπ»
Hey! Please be nice to PD players in #DistrictV2 !!
We're all trying our best, we promise. Our MDT system is wonky and still being fixed, and there's been a lot of desync and lag issues that we're trying to work around.
Please be mindful that behind every PD character there's a real person who's just trying to have fun too π
Much love to the admin team and hosts, I'm sure they're just as frustrated as us π₯Ή

please be kind to PD and everybody who plays PD characters. they may be roleplaying a character, but as somebody who has worked PD/EMS in another city, it can become really stressful and upsetting for the pilot when all you get are negative interactions. they may be roleplaying a character, but you need to remember that pilots are people with feelings. you may be new to RP, or to these mechanics, but surely you aren't new to being a kind and considerate person. please give PD the grace and kindness they deserve, as they are doing their best with new mechanics and a whole lot of people. let's continue to have fun and create fun RP and stories together~ otsu PD~! #Districtv2

A vote for BOB BURGERWEATHER is a vote for legalising GAY MARRIAGE for the SECOND TIME, making it DOUBLE LEGAL. And also for paying the police officers better, as they have been suffering from poverty.
Vote for BOB! BOB BUILDS BIGGER!

This is actually probably a really good example for any viewers/pilots wondering about what we mean when we refer to βthe bubble.β
In Ashβs POV you can see that in his view he gets directly hit dead on by the cruiser from behind, but then one second later when he looks behind him in the camera my car is in the next lane over, perfectly aligned (so not tilted like i had turned or anything). In my POV at the time, I had pulled up and stopped behind/next to him, but one second later I just see him get ejected forward from his moped.
Just wanted to use this since there was a clip to help explain the bubble phenomenon to anyone who was unsure of what we mean when we refer to it in dv and also thank you Ash for the rp!! April is doing her best !!
(reposted cause Iβm dummy incarnate and forgot to attach the photos at first LOL)

From an admin perspective from another GTA server, I've been VERY surprised at the stability of the server, and the way things run, in a good way. Most servers can't just jump into having 180+ people there without constant lag and issues, and yes, we have the tsunamis, but >

For district v2 I want to say the mods and admin and Luca and Wilson and everyone are working really hard and are very sweet. They address issues as soon as they come up and are trying to make things sustainable long term. Everyone is very friendly and kind and welcoming
