Bypassing SMB signing enforcement🔥 @aas_s3curity found a re-authentication bug in SMB. This allows you to simply relay an authentication to a host (e.g., a DC) even if signing is enforced! His NetExec module to test if a host is still vulnerable is now merged into main🚀 1/3🧵

they’re calling it the black October lmao. > node.js: security vulnerability. > PHP: critical RCE vulnerabilities. > tensorlake: npm package infected. > liteLLM: malicious PyPI + Docker releases > Railway: customer secrets exposed > zeabur - infrastructure breached. > OpenCode: AI API keys exposed. > OVHcloud CLI: official binaries backdoored. > RankMath PRO: malware inside official plugin. > TeamUpdraft: customer data compromised. > ConnectWise: cloud backup identities compromised. > SubQuery: backdoored npm package. > GhostAction: GitHub repos with malicious workflows (related to the broader Shai-Hulud/ChainDrop activity). > eMudhra: certificate authority keys compromised (with downstream impact on Tailscale). this some complete madness bro. 1/3 of the internet is fucked.

I have a very talented and capable friend that is looking for a new job (preferably remote in Europe. He is currently the CISO in a major institution in EU, but he’s looking for a new challenge. If you would happen to know any good opportunities for him, please contact me!

Quite bullshit to me that as an individual (with a track record) I cannot get Red Team access on @AnthropicAI’s CVP. The fuck am I supposed to use Defense access for? Worst part is, I can’t change my attribution as an “individual security researcher” when I reapply…

Want to run an entire Tailscale daemon from memory inside a C2 implant with zero disk artifacts, no kernel drivers, traffic indistinguishable from HTTPS to a CDN, and relay connections from the victim network back through the tailnet. Now you can. Enjoy! netspi.com/blog/technical-bl…

Democracy is when a mass surveillance law gets rejected multiple times so you force it through with an emergency vote right before summer recess
CHAT CONTROL IS COMING Even though most Members of the European Parliament have voted to REJECT Chat Control, we have not been able to reach the absolute majority that was needed (361 Members). This is a sad day for Europeans.

mass surveillance is coming > first 5 votes fail > have another vote > invoke technicality to require majority to vote AGAINST rather than requiring majority to vote FOR > do it when everyone's on vacation so not enough numbers to vote against demonic creatures

New blog post is up looking at how LLMs are making local EDR rulesets, YARA rules, and behavioral detections trivial to extract. This post focuses on how simple the harness can be. Buckle up h4xx0rs, the next few months are gonna get interesting! specterops.io/blog/2026/06/2…

OSINT Tip: GitHub OPSEC Mistake by Threat Actors When investigating threat actors that use GitHub as a malware distribution platform, check whether the commit was uploaded via the GitHub web interface. If so, the commit author's email may be linked to the GitHub account, meaning you may be able to obtain the threat actor's email address. → GET /repos/<user>/<repo>/commits → commit[.]author[.]email or → Append .patch to the commit URL and inspect the From: header. Bingo. You can then pivot on that email using OSINT platforms or manual research to uncover additional information about the threat actor. Note: This only works if the actor has disabled GitHub's "Keep my email addresses private" setting. If the setting is enabled, the author email will appear as …@.users.noreply.github.com instead of the real email address. However, many TA repositories still have this setting disabled.
Observed a fake Microsoft Teams installer (MS-TeamsUpdated-Version.js) masquerading as a legitimate WSH JScript installer. IOC: • 13bd44b97c1488ade87974a352797e1f Observed GitHub repository: • hxxps://github[.]com/officedesknote-star The script retrieves a ScreenConnect payload from the repository, then reports execution status and victim details (hostname, user, OS, IP) to a Telegram bot. #IOC

I still haven’t forgotten about the updated dotfiles for @kalilinux i3-wm. Between burnout, personal (health) issues, and a new job, I’ve been tinkering quite a lot recently, trying to get my dotfiles to a version I’d be happy to release.
I was initially planning to release this early July, but my vacation was more liberating than expected, so the deadline will move further out.

I’ve started to slowly gather my personal Hyprland dotfiles in gitlab.com/arszilla/dotfiles - however it is missing major components, such as the notification system, bar, GTK/QT rice. At least Hyprland’s 0.55 release has gotten me to move my ass and move my lousy conf configs to Lua.

God knows when this will be finished between my personal issues - namely burnout, and which programs I’d require (and if Debian upstream would even have them (such as quickshell)). Only time will tell…
