ARUN KUMAR

I work at the intersection of sustainable sciences, whether it is engineering for resource conservation or improving metabolic health. My academic foundation spans some of the most respected institutions — graduating from the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, with a Bachelor’s degree in Specialty Chemicals, followed by two Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering & Technology Management from the University of Delaware, USA and Oklahoma State University, USA respectively. After completing my education, I chose to stay in India and join my family’s enterprise — the Transparent Group, founded in 1986 by my father, an IIT‑Bombay M.Tech in Systems Control, and my mother, a Mechanical Engineer from COEP, Pune. Growing up around them, I witnessed firsthand the intelligence, courage, and determination required to build a business in the sustainability sector long before it became a global trend. Their ethos of data, results, and integrity shaped my own professional culture — one I also deeply relate to in the way Anup Singh @dlifein built dLife @dlifehealth. Across every business I’ve been part of, I’ve learned how to handle detractors not through argument, but through impeccable results. Over 11 years, I co-founded and led a national and international awards ‑winning startup in agro‑processing, proving that science‑driven innovation can transform traditional sectors. I often say I am, above all, a student of science. By God’s grace, the university degrees I’ve earned have empowered me to continuously learn, upgrade, and apply knowledge and data at every stage of life. Recently, we renovated our consulting office — a space designed for meaningful conversations and evidence‑based guidance. We now house one of the largest libraries of technical books and industry data in our field, including medical science literature, thanks to the presence of doctors in our family. It is a place that reflects our values: learning, rigor, and service. Grateful to my gurus, my parents, family, and the scientific discipline that continues to guide my path.
