An Asian BrewDog employee was sacked after raising concerns about the presence of the EDL in the BrewDog Waterloo pub on the day of a far-right rally. I never buy their products, but if you do, boycott BrewDog. You don't need your beer tasting of racism.

When numerous sources at BrewDog Waterloo (staff and customers) said no one monitored the door during football matches BrewDog denied it.

The allegations coming out of BrewDog’s flagship Waterloo bar suggest that not enough has been done to implement positive change across the entire business, and we hope James Arrow will take his duty to improve working conditions more seriously than the outgoing CEO.

We hope that this significant upheaval in leadership at BrewDog will result in a change in ethos, and bring about genuine and meaningful improvements for the parts of the company that to this day, have been shown to retain the toxic attitudes brought to light in 2021.

I’ve seen the response from Brewdog Waterloo management and the ad verbatim quote is ‘No booking was made by the EDL’. To confirm the management were warned a week ago and said at the time they would put extra security on. They didn’t and nor did they warn staff

The event is not due to start for an hour and regrettably officers are already dealing with disorder.
There is an area allocated for this event in Richmond Terrace. This group went past it and continued up Whitehall.
When officers formed a cordon and asked the group to turn round, they reacted by violently forcing their way through. Mounted officers intervened with horses to restore the cordon.

NEW: Despite warning BrewDog Waterloo management that the far-right would use the site today as part of a St George’s day march, 200 people affiliated to the Lads’ Football Alliance turned up and there was no extra security. They were all allowed into the premises. More soon…
