This week, I was blessed to join Hindu New Yorkers in Queens celebrating Navratri, Durga Puja, Dashain, and Vijayadashami.
We danced garba, performed aarti, witnessed Sindoor Khela, and honored the Goddess Durga.
It was an honor to come together in joy, faith, and community in temples across our city — especially after the attempted mass shooting at a Hindu temple in Illinois last week.
May we all join together in our shared responsibility to stand against hate and care for one another.

The Muslim Brotherhood network never wastes a crisis. Two days before France's 17 October day of protest, EMF, the student arm of what France's own Interior Ministry calls the national branch of the Brotherhood, published a call for students, teachers, workers and "the whole social movement" to join the youth in the streets, from Paris to Marseille, called the state's answer violent repression, and then asked followers for a donation.
That Saturday ended in looting, 2,397 arrests and 997 police and gendarmes injured, seven of them seriously. EMF did not build the anger, it just showed up with a donation button.
BTW, the Muslim Brotherhood is banned in the UAE.

I confronted Democratic socialist, Darializa Avila Chevalier, who is expected to win her seat for Congress in New York.
I tried to keep my question neutral, simply asking if she even likes the U.S. after her many previously anti-American statements.
She refused to respond while other DSA members attempted to shield her from my questions.
Her past statements include calling America "a f*cking disgrace", wanting to use the American flag as a napkin and is running on:
-Abolishing ICE
-Stopping all deportations (even for criminals)
-Abolishing borders, police & prisons
-Seizing private property
She has also expressed racism against white Americans and is running to become an elected official, but looks down on the same citizens who will be impacted by her decisions.

If he were to win, Chuck Schumer could place him on the Senate Intelligence Committee. He would have access to the very highest level of classified materials.
There would be an unacceptably high risk that the lives of American servicemen and women would be endangered, because there’s every reason to believe El-Sayed would share that classified information with Muslim Brotherhood terrorists.

Disgusting and offensive. The Economist is slipping into its own sleaziness with language like this. This isn’t journalism, it unprofessional, extreme bias. The sun has long set on the British Empire, and it is clearly seething in jealousy of countries that are eclipsing it.
