The Post Office has been repeatedly criticised for delaying the payout of compensation to the Horizon victims. The chair of the inquiry and the chair of the commons committee have noted that far from doing "all it can", the Post Office delay and haggles over compensation due. theguardian.com/business/2023/…

Great program on @bbc now with Paul Whitehouse highlighting the shambles that is water companies across the UK dumping sewage into our rivers whilst still making huge profits. Good to see some people still care

What an interesting off hand quote from Yorkshire Water, as reported by someone being interviewed on Our Troubled Waters on BBC 2: "well a few years ago, no one cared about the sewage going into the rivers." A few years ago, we didn't know about it...

Watching #OurTroubledRivers on BBC 2. Absolutely horrendous what that guy is pulling out the river.🤢 England deserves better. #sewage #rivers
Paul Whitehouse - "It's still astonishes me that water companies are legally allowed to dump raw sewage into our waterways... & I can't believe that is policy... there's a groundswell of support to do something... it's time water companies were taken to task." #BBCBreakfast

Definitely a must watch, not only do you truly understand the pressures our rivers are facing underwater you get to see what a full discharge is like underwater and its horrific. The clean up after with my dive gear was horrendous.

This photograph used by @Netflix and Harry and Meghan to suggest intrusion by the press is a complete travesty. It was taken from a accredited pool at Archbishop Tutu’s residence in Cape Town. Only 3 people were in the accredited position. H & M agreed the position. I was there.
