We can confirm Womenโs forward Rhianne Oakley sustained a leg fracture-dislocation in our FAWNL fixture against Boldmere St Michaels.
The clubโs Director of Medical, Tony Strudwick, has provided an update on the 25-year-old.
โRhianne sustained a fracture-dislocation of her tibia in her left leg during last Wednesdayโs game with Boldmere.
โShe had an operation over the weekend that went well. Her expected timeline for recovery and a return to action is three to six months.
โI know she has appreciated the kind messages from her team-mates and supporters since suffering the injury, and she will, of course, continue to have the full support of everyone at the football club as we work to get her back on the pitch.โ
We're all with you, Rhi. ๐๐ค
