Ça prend quand même du culot. Le jour ou M. @PaulPlamondon s'engage, je vous promets de faire le tout dans les deux langues.
Sinon, bientôt, I am taking my talents elsewhere.
Would anyone have the AUDACITY to ask this of the Bronfmans, Molsons?
None of these folks are doing anything. Yet you expect them to pull this off? Now that WE HAVE EVERYTHING WE NEED TO SUBMIT, yes, they will all "lean in."
Mais, je vais m'en souvenir.
Et n'oubliez pas, I am the one telling you to strive for more.

Et oui, this is why this demeure un projet personnel, un hobby, un passe-temps.
Have any doubt about my intentions? Go ask for our Office de la langue Française report. I am more pro Quebec, pro French... but assez c'est assez.
Come the F on. A bit of shame, empathy.
And no, I ain't whining, just calling out those we will remember did F all.
FWIW, I am happy with @SorayaMartinezF @pinardvelo and have ZERO sense of expectations from our recently elected @PaulPlamondon but as I said to Quebec Inc. and the sycophants in the media, allez vous faire foutre if you are going to have a sense of entitlement at this juncture.
Could this be the future home of the @Montreal_Expos and the 4C District? Drone Footage of the PEPSC site at Carrie-Derick off the A10 in Montreal on the southern tip of the island. Link to video in the comments. LFG!

Had a chance to speak with a former Major League Baseball @MLB exec, I couldn't help but ask what they may be thinking about the Peanut Project. Linked in the comments.
How To Invest in The Restoration of the @Montreal_Expos: Three Companies. One Mission. A Different Kind of Ownership Model.

The location and angle are more or less 100% accurate, though I admit my digital aide Chassie went a little psycho with the size of the @Montreal_Expos stadium!
The actual stadium may be smaller. But the perspective is spot-on: standing on Côte-des-Neiges, looking southwest, right where the staircase leads out.

This past weekend, I took a page from Cyrus the Great and extended an overture to one competing camp.
Last night, I shifted into Alexander the Great mode and began systematically dismantling the hopes of the remaining field.
All calculated. All strategic. Nothing personal.
Meanwhile, the Peanut Project has reached an entirely different stage.
We have an anchor investor secured, with a deep pipeline of alternatives—including existing minority investors in professional sports franchises who aspire to become controlling owners.
We've identified the land. We have drone footage. Government studies with ample skin in the game.
We have extensive private equity interest across three distinct vehicles: Stadium Inc., Franchise Inc. and District Inc.
Government stakeholders increasingly understand both the ambition and the determination behind this initiative. The proposed site has favorable entertainment-related zoning, and substantial public infrastructure investment is already planned in the surrounding area. Imagine someone objecting to a district that includes le musée Je Me Souviens, honouring Montreal and Quebec's builders, artists, athletes... bonne chance.
We have a media agreement covering at least half the games, with an equity participation component, and additional distribution conversations underway.
In fact, we're so far along in our planning that I'm already developing an entrepreneurship academy for athletes aspiring to own professional sports franchises, alongside a museum celebrating the builders, visionaries and cultural figures who shaped our society.
The stadium is the catalyst. The district is the legacy.
And now, the competitive chessboard.
First came diplomacy. Then came a rather audacious letter to a backer of another prospective bid. Even by the boldest standards, I suspect the recipient wasn't expecting it.
Could it offend someone? Certainly.
Could it motivate them to write a bigger check? Perhaps.
But you can double your investment. You cannot double your metropolitan population, market size or baseball heritage by writing a check.
Capital is necessary. It isn't sufficient.
And while fear may be temporary and greed permanent, never underestimate the power of nostalgia, civic pride and unfinished business.
Baseball has an opportunity to right a historic wrong (I didn't say it, Americans who flood my inbox with expressions of support do) and deliver what could become the greatest comeback story in professional sports.
The alternative? Imagine rejecting a fully financed, credible restoration bid after another potentially damaging labor dispute. The reputational consequences could extend far beyond one market.
I'm not suggesting anything is officially awarded. That decision belongs to @MLB
But the pieces are coming together, the competitive landscape is shifting, and the momentum is unmistakable.
The Restoration of the @Montreal_Expos is happening.
The question is no longer whether we can assemble the pieces.
It's who wants to be part of the story.
Bring it.
And it ain't 10a yet.
Trying to bring back the Expos is apparently a Seinfeld episode. No team. No stadium. No payroll. Yet everyone's negotiating fees, jobs and influence. Welcome to the Peanut Project: a show about nothing. Yet.
Lazy take to appease the mentally ill.
Any tech is what you do with it.
AI is my advisor, assistant, editor, catalyst etc.
This is lazy populism... yes @mcuban if you input garbage, you get garbage.
It's called comparative advantage & principle of specialization.
The worst part is that the younger generation lacks wisdom (what to ask), so if they steer clear, experienced people (who historically recruited younger grads) will just steer clear of them and use AI, since they know what to ask.
Mark Cuban says AI isn't smart, and he'd trust a seeing-eye dog over it to get across the street
"AI is not smart. It just knows how to use statistics basically to predict the next word. It’s predictive. It’s not deterministic. If you asked 4 different AIs the same question, you’re going to get 4 different answers"
"AI doesn’t know the consequences of its actions. AI doesn’t have inherent ethics"
"If I’m standing at a 4-way intersection and there’s cars going back and forth, and I have video in my phone and the best models ever, and I have a seeing-eye dog right here, I’m letting the seeing-eye dog take me across the street before I let the AI take me across the street. It’s always going to be behind"
"A 2-year-old sitting on a high chair with a sippy cup knows that if it pushes the sippy cup off the high chair, Mom’s going to come running, and it knows it’s going to crack up. AI is not going to figure that out ever"
