I think people underestimate how much of a nightmare these products are to build at scale. It’s easy to frame companies as villains until you have to deal with the same engineering, hardware, and business constraints yourself.

I reverse engineered Pocket and made it 10X better. Right now: the app is full of ads, the microphone is low quality, it constantly misspells peoples names, and has no agentic features. I changed that.
