If Prasar Bharati can spend ₹15 crore a year on a DD News show featuring a star anchor, while the ISRO Chairman’s basic pay is about ₹27 lakh a year, shouldn’t we rethink our priorities? If India wants to conquer space and attract our finest scientific minds, our rewards must match our ambitions.

The scrambled eggs at a hotel breakfast are 19% water, and they're dyed.
A lot of hotels and cafeterias pour them from a carton of Papetti's Breakfast Blend. The spec sheet reads whole eggs, 19% water, then under 2% of salt, xanthan gum, citric acid, annatto color and natural butter flavor. Papetti's is part of Michael Foods, one of the biggest egg processors in the country.
Every ingredient has a job on a steam table. Xanthan gum holds the added water in the egg so it doesn't weep into the pan. Citric acid keeps the eggs from turning gray or green under a heat lamp. Annatto puts back the yolk color the water washed out. The butter flavor is there because nobody is going to add butter. The carton keeps for 98 days in the cooler.
The plain version from the same company is whole eggs, whey, skim milk, xanthan and citric acid, with almost no added water and half the sodium.

When NH 8 from Gurugram to Delhi is packed and traffic is not moving it’s crawling, maybe someone in the traffic police in @dtptraffic should have stopped trucks and goods vehicles on the border. The city is choked and polluted. @LtGovDelhi @gupta_rekha at least, monitor things. Pollution control is not a half page ad in a newspaper. A choked highway and its afternoon only. Governance is maybe at its lowest. So many years and nothing to show. Ambulance is just ahead of me on the highway, not able to even move. Trucks and trucks. Even an ambulance cannot move in this traffic. There has to be some level of performance in your work.

- AI closed source models ( chat gpt, Claude) need $ 10 trn annually to justify valuations. But OpenAI missed its revenue guidance by $ 20 bn (instead of 70 it could only do 50)
- the work these closed AI LLMs do, Chinese open LLMs are showing can be done at 1/10 cost
-this reality is catching up fast. Oracle’s debt to raise money for data centres remain unsold. OpenAI postponed its IPO and now attempting thru private route at 1.5 trn valuation
Minus AI stocks, US stock market growth remains sober. US sucked out capital from everywhere else, doubled its deficit from Covid to $ 40 trn, to fund this gig that Chinese are poised to win.
That is more or less the interpretation of Jeffries’ doomsday prediction for US AI gold rush.

One thing is certain - Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL and many more companies helped millions of Indians move from a lower middle class financial status to an upper middle class and upper class status.
People with zero assets, no family background have built houses, given good education to their children, taken care of their families - All because they made good money.
People travelled abroad, saved well, roamed around, took their parents abroad to show them how developed world looks like. None of this would have happened without the advent of IT companies in India. One can hate them as much as they want but the IT companies built Modern India and Modern Indian homes🤩

A brazen display of VIP arrogance and defiance of the Supreme Court of India.
A black Mercedes-Benz sedan bearing registration DL1CAB1111 was seen bulldozing its way through Delhi traffic, accompanied by a black Scorpio brazenly displaying “POLICE” and “ESCORT” in red lettering, blaring a siren, with armed personnel forcing ordinary motorists out of the way.
Who is this individual? Who authorised this private show of State power? And under whose authority were armed men clearing public roads for him?
In Abhay Singh v. State of Uttar Pradesh, (2013) 15 SCC 435, the Supreme Court, speaking through Justices G.S. Singhvi and C. Nagappan, condemned precisely this culture of manufactured privilege, describing the abuse of sirens and symbols of authority as reflective of “Raj Mentality” and antithetical to the concept of a Republic.
The Court expressly directed enforcement authorities to act “without any fear or favour.” The law was further tightened in 2017, restricting vehicular beacons to designated emergency and disaster-management duties.
Will the Commissioner of Delhi Police identify the occupants, disclose the legal authority for this escort, and initiate prosecution if these privileges were unlawfully exercised?
Or will the Supreme Court’s directions remain meaningless whenever a wealthy private individual decides that public roads are his personal estate?
If this was not a lawfully authorised police operation, it demands immediate investigation, seizure of evidence and prosecution of those responsible.
How much longer must ordinary citizens tolerate this vulgar, feudal VIP culture? Money does not confer constitutional status. And Delhi’s roads are not the private property of businessmen with delusions of royalty.
