yeah i think i said before that God loves irony
Trump engaged in a thoughtful, extended conversation with—nothingness. He suddenly stopped, waved, saluted, offered greetings, and chatted for a bit with the empty space. 😁🤭
The cameraman deliberately zoomed out to show that there was absolutely no one to be seen for hundreds of meters in any direction.
Apparently, Trump received a visit from the very same "invisible person"—the kind of encounter he had previously mocked Joe Biden for supposedly having.

like the idea that your credit card rewards program might be predicated on a class of omelas children is genuinely too much for the burger mind to comprehend and they start lashing out in anger and confusion
lowkey the molech worshippers are right I *should* put a great courses plus subscription on a credit card and autopay it
the soon-to-be obsolete computer toucher crowd HATES this post, but the joke's gonna be on them soon when they're sitting on 20% interest rates
You can read the replies here to see how emotionally invested american cattle are in their little minigames that you're required to opt into. They love sucking baker cock.
Banning credit card rewards is as close to an unalloyed social good regulation as you can get.
It's not like some industry where we have to debate the trade-off of ending some class of job as the cost off reducing pollution or whatever. It's just a zero-sum system that bids up customer acquisition costs for banks. Other countries have just capped card fees and they still have functional electronic payments.
The only people in favor of this are psychologically abused Americans who have invested part of their identity being good at a little life minigame imposed on them by behavioral psychologists employed by bank marketing departments. They'd rather feel satisfied thinking they're one of the net winners than take a step in a direction that benefits everyone.
Like if you had to solve a little match three game on a screen to operate a gas pump, which gave you some variable bonus payout at the cost of a fee paid on every gallon of gas, there would be a large group of people against removing the slot machine element form the gas pump because they are psychologically invested in the minigame and their own status as being better at playing the system than the other guy.
We can actually just have public infrastructure that works and treats everyone equally with legible rules.
i dont participate in retarded rituals with dangling monetary keys because soembody else stands to benefit from my participation. this is the reason every grocery store asks for my phone number. fuck off and kill yourself.

probably my least favorite customer is the unremarkable, pale-eyed man who comes in every night and says "You're becoming empty for me. You're doing very well. Very well. It won't be long now."
