Glonk problem I need help with: so this is a Glock 22 Gen 4 that I’m trying to fit on a Glock 17 Gen 5 @py2a frame & rails. Google says it should fit up, identical size, fits on the frame. But the barrel doesn’t seem to lock into the locking block quite right & refuses to rack.

So checked the locking block, which had some issues with rail fitment already and seems just a hair too long. Do I run a Glock 17 Gen 5 LB? Or can I tweak this one to run? Recoil springs obv arnt interchange between gens. And striker seems slightly off

& the slide itself fits on DD Gen 3 rails, but obviously also doesn’t lock into or rack due to locking block and recoil spring differences. Have any of yall built a Gen 4 G22? Is there specific frames for these? Do they need a certain recoil springs obv and LB combo for gen4?
