I’m torn between both.
Howe: Good OOP, fitness, pressing and a good man manger, weak at sustaining possession and territorial dominance like a top team.
Nagelsmann: Good IP, builds through midfield overloads, entertaining to watch, scores loads of goals. Weak OOP, and a weirdo.
🚨 NEW:
Both Eddie Howe and Julian Nagelsmann are AWARE of Manchester United’s interest. #MUFC [@SamiMokbel_BBC]
Mourinho using the concept of deep runs from midfield to break a high line’s offside trap 👏👏
🚨 José Mourinho: "I told Camavinga that Tchouaméni will stay low and protect the defense, and you will attack SPACE.
It's difficult for any attackers to attack space against Barcelona, the only solution is to do it with your MIDFIELDERS.
When your attackers do it, Barca's defense is prepared and coached for that, and your attackers end up being offside, or the pass ends up being cut by Joan Garcia.
The solution is to use midfielders like Camavinga and Bellingham to break that line, and it worked."
Now that United are (yet again) in a position, they have to answer whether or not they want to commit to a high intensity front foot football, or if they want to commit to the style of football that gets the best out of Man United’s best XI.
These two concepts are entirely different things
I reckon, the best squad that suits a high intensity football;
RB De Ligt Yoro LB
Baleba Santos
Amad Tielemans Mount
Mbeumo
If this is the direction, you commit to these players 100%, only compromise on the other unidentified positions, and sort out replacements ASAP with athletic players that suit that philosophy
I’m so sorry man, @carras16 I hate to see you like this
