Formed in 1990 in Gothenburg, Sweden, Ace of Base comprised siblings Jonas (Joker), Linn and Jenny Berggren, alongside their friend Ulf Ekberg (Buddha). They conquered the world in the 1990s with hits like All That She Wants, The Sign, Don't Turn Around and Beautiful Life. But fame came at a price. Linn withdrew from the spotlight, Jenny eventually left, and the original lineup fell apart. Attempts to revive the group with replacement singers failed to recapture its magic.
From global superstardom to near silence, Ace of Base remains one of the most memorable pop acts of the 1990s.

NAIROBI POLITICS UNDER THE MICROSCOPE: WHAT DOES THE LANDSCAPE HOLD FOR UDA?
Political analysis is something I genuinely enjoy engaging in. My assessment of Nairobi’s political landscape paints a grim picture for UDA, and there are important dynamics worth examining.
As someone seeking to represent Kileleshwa Ward as its MCA in 2027, I believe it is important to keep my eyes and ears open, remain informed and understand the wider political currents shaping our city. Leadership requires more than focusing on one's backyard; it demands an understanding of the bigger picture.

Dr. Jan Bekkering’s presentation argued renewable energy should be chosen in community-based research by first understanding how a community produces, processes, cooks, stores and accesses food, matching energy technologies to those in need

KCSE candidates in Kisii attacked KNEC officials, overpowered a police officer, and STOLE his Ceska pistol during a 4-hour standoff.
The gun was missing for 6 hours before being recovered.
Is this exam pressure, pure hooliganism, or a total breakdown of school discipline? 🤔

A lawyer disappears. Two men reportedly connected to his disappearance are also reported missing. Families are searching for answers.
This is bigger than politics. It is about the most basic promise a state makes to its citizens: that nobody should simply disappear without answers.
Every missing person deserves a serious investigation. Where are they?

Kenya wants to raise the legal drinking age from 18 to 21 and tighten where alcohol can be sold.
But here is the real question: will stricter laws reduce alcohol abuse, or will weak enforcement and illicit brews continue defeating every new regulation?
We need solutions that work on the ground, not just tough headlines.
What do you think?
