Hegseth: We’re placing spiritual health at the same level as physical health. Our department is, you might say, putting on the full armor of God. Because while we wage physical war, we all know the real battle is spiritual. God is good. Evil is not. And America's military must understand the difference

I’m convinced that the ability to remain unshaken by the minor inconveniences of life puts you ahead of 95% of people. Emotional control is the ultimate power. Few have it. Not every collision or slight deserves your energy. You can just let them float by.

It was a great joy to welcome my dear friend and fellow servant of God, Bishop David Oyedepo, to the Global Crusade with Kumuyi in Ota. His presence brought great joy to the gathering, and we give God all the glory for the wonderful moment of fellowship. #GlobalCrusadeWithKumuyi #GCKInOta #BishopOyedepo #PastorKumuyi

Integrity comes from the Latin word integritas, meaning "one" or "whole." People who are one way on the inside and another way on the outside--i.e., not "whole"--lack integrity; they have "duality" instead. While presenting your view as something other than it is can sometimes be easier in the moment (because you can avoid conflict, or embarrassment, or achieve some other short-term goal), the second and third-order effects of having integrity and avoiding duality are immense. People who are one way on the inside and another on the outside become conflicted and often lose touch with their own values. It's difficult for them to be happy and almost impossible for them to be their best. #principleoftheday

You can be rich and broke at the same time. Sounds contradictory. It is the most common financial trap in Nigeria right now. Let me show you the actual difference between rich and wealthy, with real numbers. Rich is a number. Wealthy is a structure. A man earning N500,000 a month, driving a recently bought Camry, living in a serviced apartment, going out every weekend, is rich. His income is high. If that income stops tomorrow, his lifestyle collapses within weeks. With N480,000 in monthly expenses and N200,000 in actual savings, he survives less than half a month without a salary. Impressive on the outside but he is one missed paycheck away from crisis on the inside. A woman earning N250,000 a month, living modestly, but holding N15,000,000 across T-bills, mutual funds, and dividend-paying stocks, is wealthy. That N15 million, earning a blended 18% per annum, quietly generates roughly N225,000 a month in passive income, almost matching her entire salary, without her showing up to work for a single day of it. If her income stopped tomorrow, her N3 million in liquid reserves alone carries her comfortably for 15 months while the rest keeps compounding untouched. Rich is what shows. The car, the apartment, the lifestyle everyone sees and quietly measures you against. Wealthy is what doesn't show. The T-bill nobody sees, the mutual fund nobody photographs, the dividend that lands quietly every quarter while nobody is watching. Rich spends the raise. Wealthy invests the raise and lets the lifestyle catch up later, on its own schedule, funded by assets instead of salary. Now listen, Nigeria's inflation has run above 20% for years, sometimes above 30%. A rich person's naira income is being quietly eaten in real time by a currency that refuses to hold still. A wealthy person's assets, especially anything earning real yield or held in dollars, are structured specifically to survive that erosion. One person is running to stay in place. The other person built something that runs without them. Most Nigerians chasing "rich" are actually chasing visibility. A bigger car than their cousin. A better apartment than their colleague. None of that generates a single naira while they sleep. Meanwhile the people quietly becoming wealthy are quoted as managing from the outside, sometimes even mocked for not living large, while their money multiplies in the background completely undisturbed by anyone's opinion. You do not need N500,000 to start becoming wealthy. You need to redirect whatever you currently spend proving you are rich into something that builds an asset instead. The goal was never to look rich. The goal was to become financially independent enough that nobody's opinion of your lifestyle can touch your survival. Be wealthy quietly. Let rich be loud without you.

These 12 names account for two-thirds of the market. The first five names account for 52% of the market. When you hear ‘invest in the index or the NGX ', it is practically impossible in the context of the Nigerian equities market. In the U.S. market, you can invest in the S&P 500 as a stock, but you can not do that currently in Nigeria (my people at Cowrywise will do something about this soon sha). Although there are ETFs meant to make the index investable (some NGX 30 ETFs sponsored by a couple of investment houses), my personal opinion is that they are not exactly suitable, given their inherent characteristics. If you want to “effectively” track the market, you can just buy these 12 names to hold. If you have to top up, you can spread the money across these names. It is not a perfect measure tbh, because at some point, one stock will rise more than the other and the weightings change frequently. But on average, these 12 names are practically the entire market.

Islam has a problem with freedom, democracy, pork, dogs, music, Christmas, Zoroastrians, Hindus, Jews, Buddhists, Christians, women who do not wear the hijab, people who leave the faith, and even those who draw the Prophet of Islam who, according to widely recognised Islamic sources, was betrothed to Aisha when she was six. Yet if we say that we have a problem with Islam or choose to criticise it, we are immediately branded “Islamophobes” or “anti-Muslim”. Some even call for jihad or declare critics apostates, while others justify their killing. If an ideology claims the right to judge, restrict, condemn or even excommunicate everyone else, why should that ideology itself be exempt from criticism? Why should Islam be treated as a protected taboo? The fact that some Muslims respond to criticism with threats or attempts to silence others should never force us into self-censorship. Instead, it should reinforce the principle that no religion or ideology is above criticism in a free society. @elonmusk

She is not your queen. She is your wife. Modern culture tells men to put their wives on a throne. Scripture tells wives to honor their husbands as their earthly lords. The Bible never once calls a wife a "queen." But it does point us to Sarah, who "obeyed Abraham, calling him lord" (1 Peter 3:6). It also describes holy women as those who "were subject to their own husbands" (1 Peter 3:5). God did not design marriage as two equal rulers negotiating power. He established an order. The husband is called to lead. The wife is called to submit. The husband is the head. The wife is the helper. For decades, men have been told, "Happy wife, happy life," "Treat her like a queen," and "Worship the ground she walks on." The results speak for themselves. Marriage has not become stronger by abandoning God's design. A wife flourishes when she gladly follows her husband's leadership, just as a husband flourishes when he leads with wisdom, strength, and sacrificial love. God's pattern is not outdated. It is timeless.

HOW TO DETERMINE THE WORTH OF YOUR COMPANY There are several ways to determine a company's net worth, depending on the purpose. 1. Simple Method (Book Value) Net Worth = Total Assets − Total Liabilities Example: Cash: ₦50 million Buildings & Equipment: ₦150 million Inventory: ₦30 million Total Assets = ₦230 million Bank Loans: ₦80 million Supplier Debts: ₦20 million Total Liabilities = ₦100 million Net Worth = ₦230 million − ₦100 million = ₦130 million 2. For a Listed Company Net Worth (Market Value) = Share Price × Number of Outstanding Shares Example: Share price = ₦50 Shares outstanding = 1 billion Market value = ₦50 billion This is often called the company's market capitalization. 3. For a Private Company Investors often use Net assets (book value) Annual profit Revenue Comparable company valuations For example, if a company earns ₦100 million profit annually and similar businesses sell for 5× earnings: Estimated Company Value = ₦100 million × 5 = ₦500 million 4. If You Own Part of the Company Your Net Worth in the Company = Company Value × Your Ownership Percentage Example: Company value = ₦500 million You own 40% Your stake is worth ₦200 million.

Question: “Should I invest in SpaceX IPO” For my response, I have shared my thesis which I also discussed in Tekedia Capital WhatsApp Group. The summary is this: “…probably not…. SpaceX is a remarkable company. It has transformed the economics of space launch, built a dominant satellite business, and created technological capabilities that few organizations in human history have matched. But a great company does not automatically become a great investment at every price. Consider the numbers. SpaceX reportedly generated less than US$20 billion in revenue last year. Meanwhile, Nvidia is approaching US$300 billion in annual revenue and is producing extraordinary profits. Yet Nvidia's valuation is around US$5 trillion. Google's parent, Alphabet, is generating about US$400 billion in annual revenue and still trades below that level. The question therefore is not whether SpaceX is great. The question is whether a company with roughly US$20 billion in revenue can justify a US$1.8 trillion valuation and then compound sufficiently from there to generate venture-style returns.” Continue reading as it is a long one tekedia.com/spacex-at-1-8-tr…
