1984 के जख्मों का जिक्र हुआ तो मुझे 1, 2 और 3 नवंबर, 1984 के वो दिन याद आए, जब इंदिरा गांधी की हत्या के बाद दिल्ली की सड़कों पर सिख भाइयों का कत्लेआम हुआ था. आज भी ये याद करके रोंगटे खड़े हो जाते हैं.
मैं और पत्रकार तवलीन सिंह त्रिलोकपुरी की सड़कों पर गए थे, हम सड़क के बीचों-बीच divider पर चल रहे थे और दोनों तरफ लाशें पड़ी हुई थीं, कुछ कटी हुई, कुछ जली हुई. हमारे देखते-देखते बेकाबू भीड़ ने एक सिख भाई को गले में टायर डालकर जला दिया.
हम पुलिस को बुलाने की कोशिश करते रहे, लेकिन दूर-दूर तक पुलिस का कोई नामोनिशान नहीं था. कोई बचाने नहीं आया. मैं सब्जी मंडी की mortuary (शवगृह) का वो भयानक दृश्य कभी नहीं भूल सकता, जहां एक के ऊपर एक सिख भाइयों की लाशों के ढेर लगे थे. मेरे साथ जो photographer थे, वह लाशों को देखकर बेहोश हो गए थे.
शवगृह में पड़ी बर्फ का पानी मुंह पर छिड़ककर मैं उनको किसी तरह होश में ला सका. हमने तो बस ये दृश्य देखे थे और उन्हें भूल नहीं पाते. सोचिए, जिन लोगों ने अपनों को खोया, जिनके परिवार वाले जलाए गए, जिनके घर लूटे गए, उन पर नवंबर के शुरुआती दिनों को याद करके क्या बीतती होगी. ये सोचकर भी दिल दहल उठता है.

और वह जो खुलासा कर रहे हैं वह बेहद हैरान करने वाला और चौंकाने वाला खुलासा है कि राहुल गांधी जार्ज सोरेस के इशारे पर किस तरह झूठ और छल के सहारे इस देश में गृह युद्ध करवाना चाह रहे हैं

और आपलोग कहते हैं कि RSS का एक आदमी आजादी के आंदोलन में जेल नहीं गया।
अब मैं आपसे पूछती हूँ कि कांग्रेस के एक नेता का नाम बता दीजिए जिसे अंग्रेजों ने काला पानी की सजा दी हो।

The World Bank’s October 2026 Poverty & Equity Brief records India’s progress as one of the fastest poverty declines in the world.
The report highlights several significant gains:
✅ 49.6 crore people moved above the lower-middle-income poverty line of $4.20 a day between 2011 and 2023, with the poverty rate declining from 57.7% to 16.1%.
✅ Extreme poverty declined from 27.1% to 2.6% over the same period, measured at $3 a day. Both monetary poverty thresholds use 2021 purchasing power parity.
✅ Employment increased by 13.4 crore people between 2017 and 2023, nearly twice the increase in the working-age population.
✅ Rural women accounted for much of the employment gain, entering paid work and increasing the number of earners in their households.
✅ Both rural and urban households experienced substantial welfare gains, with faster progress in rural India narrowing the rural–urban gap.
✅ Access to electricity reached 99% of the population, according to the report’s 2022 survey data.
The World Bank identifies strong consumption growth, rising employment - especially among women—and expanded social transfers, including food subsidies, as major drivers.

पचपन साल तक एक कलश जिनेवा में पड़ा रहा और दिल्ली में किसी को याद नहीं आया कि वो किसका है।
श्यामजी कृष्ण वर्मा मरते वक्त कह गए थे मेरी राख को भारत तब ले जाना जब वो आजाद हो जाए।
देश 1947 में आजाद तो हो गया पर दिल्ली में बैठी सरकार को वो आजादी याद नहीं रही जिसमें इंडिया हाउस की दीवारों पर बम बनाने के फॉर्मूले लिखे जाते थे।
क्योंकि उस कहानी में कांग्रेस नहीं थी इसलिए वो कहानी सिलेबस से बाहर कर दी गई।
श्यामजी कौन थे जो भुला दिए गए?
वो कच्छ के मांडवी का लड़का जो ऑक्सफोर्ड में संस्कृत पढ़ाता था,
जो 1905 में लंदन में इंडिया हाउस बनाता है,
विदेश में भारत की पहली क्रांतिकारी सरकार का हेडक्वार्टर। वहीं से इंडियन होम रूल सोसाइटी शुरू की और कहा संसद में जाकर कि भारत को आजादी चाहिए भीख नहीं।
वहीं से द इंडियन सोशियोलॉजिस्ट मैगजीन निकाली जिसने पहली बार खुलेआम लिखा कि सशस्त्र क्रांति जायज है।
उसी इंडिया हाउस ने वीर सावरकर को शिष्य बनाया, मैडम भीकाजी कामा को झंडा दिया, मदनलाल धींगरा और लाला हरदयाल जैसे बम-बंदूक वाले लड़के पैदा किए।
छत्रपति शिवाजी के नाम पर तीन स्कॉलरशिप बनाईं, शर्त रखी कि ऑक्सफोर्ड पढ़कर लौटोगे तो अंग्रेजों के खिलाफ लिखोगे।
ऐसे आदमी का क्या काम कांग्रेस की कहानी में?
तो उनकी अस्थियां स्विट्जरलैंड में धूल खाती रहीं।
2003 में एक मुख्यमंत्री बिना प्रोटोकॉल के जिनेवा गया। कोई प्रधानमंत्री नहीं,
कोई विदेश मंत्री नहीं।
गुजरात का मुख्यमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी।
दो कलश हाथ में लेकर लौटा, एक श्यामजी का,
एक उनकी पत्नी भानुमती का।
जैसे कोई बेटा अपने बाप को घर ला रहा हो।
मुंबई से मांडवी तक अस्थि यात्रा, हर स्टेशन पर फूल।
आज मांडवी में समंदर के सामने वही इंडिया हाउस खड़ा है, हूबहू।
अंदर उसी कमरे में दो कलश रखे हैं।
वहां जाओ तो लगता है राख नहीं, आग रखी है।
जिस देश में कांग्रेस ने पचास साल तक अपने क्रांतिकारी की राख तक वापस लाने की जहमत नहीं उठाई,
उसी देश में मोदी ने उसे तीर्थ बना दिया।
बदलाव ऐसे भी होते हैं।
