Article 1 of President Trump’s plan is clear: Gaza must be a deradicalized, terror-free zone that poses no threat to its neighbors. Meanwhile, Hamas declares it is ready to repeat October 7th. Anyone who cares about Gazans must demand Hamas be disarmed and removed from power. Pressuring Israel while Hamas refuses to disarm only empowers terrorists, threatens Israeli security, and leaves Gazans under Hamas's brutal rule.

I had a good call with my friend, Cyprus Foreign Minister @ckombos. We discussed the Turkish-Libyan maritime boundary agreement, which undermines the rights and interests of several countries in the Eastern Mediterranean. We also discussed bilateral relations between Israel and Cyprus, as well as Israel’s relations with the European Union. I will continue working to strengthen the close ties between Israel and Cyprus! 🇮🇱🇨🇾

PM @MarkJCarney who is quick to condemn Israel for alleged human rights violations again & again - will meet Turkey’s President Erdogan, upgrading ties to a “strategic partnership” in areas that include defense & energy. Meanwhile Erdogan…xitter.cf/cotlerwunsh/status/176… O Canada.
Erdogan backs Hamas terror that on 10/7 burned alive, raped, mutilated, murdered & abducted thousands; is intent to commit “a million 10/7”. Also: Erdogan denies Armenian genocide. Erdogan massacres the Kurds in Turkey. Erdogan is among world’s biggest jailers of journalists.

A correction for @destandaard: Israel’s elections are about Gaza, among other issues. Israeli politicians don’t want to kill Palestinians. Happy to help.

Violence is violence. Condemnations cannot be selective, or they completely lose their credibility.
The reality of Palestinian violence in Judea and Samaria. Yesterday, Palestinian attackers set fire to the Tomb of Eleazar the Priest (son of Aaron, brother of Moses, and High Priest of Israel during the biblical period) in Awarta, Samaria, damaging a Jewish holy site. Another example of the ongoing wave of Palestinian violence targeting Jews and Jewish heritage in Judea and Samaria. jsrcenter.org/en/articles/ar…

“Let us acknowledge that the U.N.’s record on antisemitism has at times fallen short of our ideals. The resolution equating Zionism with racism was an especially unfortunate decision. I am glad that it has since been rescinded.” — UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, 21 June 2004

🇨🇦 @MarkJCarney hypocrisy update:
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has embarked on a three-day visit to Turkey seeking closer relations with one of the world’s most repressive, cruel, and abusive regimes, a global leader in torturing prisoners, jailing journalists, and killing Kurds. This is the same Mark Carney who never misses a chance to condemn democratic Israel and threaten us with sanctions. Bon voyage to the hypocrite-in-chief.

Of nearly 200 countries worldwide, Israel ranks among the 20 longest-standing continuous electoral democracies. 🇮🇱 After regaining independence in 1948, Israel has maintained its parliamentary democracy for 78 years. A young country with a long democratic tradition.

@kschnurbein you will be greatly missed on EU level but the very right person for your new position. Best of luck on your new journey dear Katharina🌹
Last night, I had the privilege of attending Katharina von Schnurbein farewell event. It was an evening full of appreciation for Katharina, mixed with sadness over her upcoming departure. Thank you, Katharina, for your unmatched courage and humanity. In a world where speaking the truth has become rare and difficult, your steadfast voice is more important than ever.

Maastricht University has allowed the student from Gaza, suspended over a video glorifying the 7 October massacre, to resume his studies through a "special individual programme" outside university buildings. The prosecutor found no criminal offence. That is the law's answer. A university owes its students another one: has he distanced himself from celebrating the murder of Jews? Jewish students in Maastricht deserve to know. @EJAssociation
