What made this movie so great was that they were operating under the impression that none of it was real and to my knowledge, it was the first time. Like we see that idea be rehashed in later movies and such but it was a doozy seeing it happen the first time.

At the risk of sounding like a Puritan, I really don't understand why and how Halloween has taken off this much and so religiously celebrated. I don't get why it's listed in the "Customs and Traditions" section of the Life in the UK handbook for aspiring British citizens.

it is kind of funny how during all these discussions of problematic horror movies, Friday the 13th seems to always fly under the radar, when Its probably got the most egregious stories and examples compared to other movies that get hate for much less.

there’s so many horror stories behind the scenes of the Friday the 13th movies. Just a few to note: they had an underage actress do a sex scene and almost froze an actress in a cold lake and it took the actor of Jason to threaten quitting for them to listen.
