.@Shottery out of order. Local resident speaking, make a statement right now & make it good. There's no place for partisan performative politics in this areas education system

Instead of vanity in '97 putting two strong (& armour heavy) high readiness divisions with a corp HQ, in the shop window, promising to be the 'pointy end of the spear' a better solution would have been to create a larger cadreised land force at longer readiness. Regular bde HQs, one reg & the rest TA battalions alongside a resourced system of reserves & mobilisation. After expending energy in pointless wars & letting the armoured fleet rot we now have nothing left of the '97 force except scraps. We can't have a global army, we should have a global navy
My first instinct is to always argue for a balance of investment across the services, and arguments for a stronger navy that start with 'we are an island' are generally utter nonsense (and should be roundly ridiculed), but you cannot help to think of priorities

Quite. Liberal left EU obsessed loonies rewriting history
I remember when the #DublinConvention was signed. It was loaded against asylum returns to France from the start - and remained so until we left. @Nigel_Farage is right. Suggestions from @andyburnham that the boats started because of #Brexit are for the birds.

You have to admire a conviction politician. Sadly we have this clown as PM instead
There is nothing socialist about a system of free movement that is used by multi-nationals to undermine wages. WATCH my Brexit speech today.

Explain @10DowningStreet exactly why it'd be right or fair to force everyone to pay for a BBC ''service'' which is neither balanced not fit for public consumption?
BREAKING - Phil Craig, Panorma’s senior producer who worked on the show for two decades, accuses the BBC of bias in its coverage of the conflict in Gaza - he claims a ‘new, more radical generation’ has taken over the broadcaster (via @Telegraph) telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/10…

The police, including @nottspolice are terrified of aggressive Islam & Muslim street violence they know they can't control. The alternative is to pander & appease their ethnic communities, loudly deny accusations of 2-tier policing & use public order & speech laws aggressively Every time they do this the public trust ebbs further away
BREAKING - UK police are refusing to arrest a Nottingham iman after he called for Muslims in the UK and other white nations to take up arms in jihad to carry out preemptive strikes against white people and white nations.

It's like being hurled into a pits of vipers, fighting for your life with the RSPCA shouting commands about cruelty from above. A seditious combination of arse covering bureaucrats, uniformed lizards & power hungry human rights lawyers in @defenceHQ & govt has formed a cancerous politicised rot. It has eaten away at us since Blair forced the odious Human Rights Act & all the virtuous garbage that followed into operational theatres of war to the point where soldiers can no longer trust ROE & the authority that issues them
EXCLUSIVE: The commanding officer of the SAS was placed under criminal investigation and referred to prosecutors over anti-ISIS mission in Syria. Unprecedented move concerned police request for classified evidence, but effort to charge him collapsed thetimes.com/uk/defence/arti…

They blew up our power stations, they capped the oil wells, taxed the remaining power stations and threw subsidies at useless intermittent generators the grid wasn't designed for, and now they're telling us to stock up on food and water. They've deliberately made us poorer and put the brakes on the economy while flooding the country with hostile low IQ third worlders. Our politicians at war with us and its time we did something about them.

First you need police that aren't obsessed with DEI, woke & a far-right they can't find, with command teams that put the rule of law above social engineering & which aren't compromised by aggressive Islam terrified into ethnic appeasement & two-tier policing Right now, they've put the public's backs up
If we want law and order back on our streets, we need to back the police.

If @wesstreeting can find 5 minutes from his programme of hiding the bodies he should read this thread. £63B a year & all we have is Cold War scraps, fantasy orbats, failed procurement, collapsing capability, demoralised personnel, continuing cuts & listening to the sound of ministers kicking the can down the road
Replying to @FTusa284
Because it isn't going on delivering new capabilities. @RoyalNavy? OK, 2 x 65,000t CVs are something, but no new DD/FF for 14yrs, as the T23 fleet collapses. And look at MCMV, RFA - capabilities gone. @BritishArmy? No new AFVs for well over a decade, some Boxers delivered, but..

There’s no way that girl was a trained firearms officer. They’ve carefully not described her as such. @metpoliceuk have been caught out using a DEI PR prop & now shamelessly trying to cover their tracks by the Commissioner bursting into tears implying ‘racism’ & deflecting to online abuse Absurd people
Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley has responded to the unacceptable online abuse directed at a Met officer who received an award at yesterday's annual Police Federation Conference. PC Fiona Shaik Umar was recognised for the outstanding contribution she has made for women in policing.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The vast majority of criticism was not because she is Muslim, but because she was not following very basic gun safety rules. Her finger was on the trigger and she pointed the barrel of the gun at a fellow officer. gunsafetyrules.nra.org hunter-ed.com/muzzleloader/s… x.com/BasilTheGreat/… x.com/WilkieisBack66… x.com/LozzaFox/statu…

Supporting Ukraine, deploying Typhoons to Saudi, and watching the High North are legitimate commitments. They only make sense if we also have the ships, submarines, munitions and trained people to defend ourselves at home. The Defence Committee has just warned that the Royal Navy lacks the resources to deter Russian activity in the High North. We sit near the bottom of NATO’s readiness tables on fleet availability. “Live within your means” and paused training do not produce ready forces. Allies notice the difference between announcements and actual capability. So do our enemies.

Wait! She's a Muslim I thought the majority of the criticism was because of the appalling safety drills that the @metpolicuk were displaying It seems like Rowley is obsessed with identity politics when he should be getting a grip of the firearms training regime

You know @JeevunSandher is a knob when he turns off replies. I must have missed the immediate recession, 1M unemployed, promised emergency budget, 15% drop in Sterling, £30B tax increases, European war, house price collapse. We had to wait for a Labour govt full of these absurd ppl for any of this to start coming true
When I was in HMT, I worked on the “Project Fear” document. It turned out to be Project Fact.

This is a sad little attempt to bait people. She wants the obvious comments because it fuels the left/ethno grievance mongers. A true advocate for diversity would understand heroism is defined by deed not skin colour. There are no 'black' heroes, just 'heroes'.
On Thursday, I'll be speaking in Parliament to mark #BlackHistoryMonth. I want to celebrate Black British heroes, past and present, from Erith and Thamesmead and across the UK, whose contributions deserve recognition. Who should I mention? Comment below using #BHMdebate.

This is Mohammed Yaseen. He was part of Al Qaeda and ISIS. He’s been accused of assisting bombings and beheadings. He was jailed in Germany, and then came here by boat. He was just freed having served 6 months in prison. He’s already broken his licence. This is what the Tories and Labour have done.

While the State & @UKlabour Govt stand by & allow SAS personnel to be prosecuted, it is silent on Blair's human rights industry enabling a man involved in the jihadi beheading of a British national to shop in the local CoOp without a care in the world Who paid for those groceries? Sick
🚨NEW: An Islamic terrorist who was part of the Al Qaeda unit who beheaded British man Ken Bigley has been pictured free to walk the streets after being released from prison having served six months of a two-year sentence for illegally crossing the English Channel

For background on the disgraceful actions of MoD, Trolley and Wally and Starmer et al, the whole stinking crew of SW1 NPCs, watch Jaycal on Shawn Ryan show. Our government is much more dangerous than ‘Putin’, our own MPs and officials are driving the country into crisis, security and financial and spiritual and constitutional. The stinking Tories supported the worst lawyers in Whitehall never forget that. Which is a reason you never see Kemi-kasi campaign on this issue. They’ll all babble ‘Slava Ukraine prepare for war with Russia’ to distract from their deliberate undermining of our own borders and importing of jihadis. This country needs to focus on reversing the vandalising of our own forces by our own rancid political parties, not babbling Slava Ukraine about a moronic war the useless NPCs keep escalating - a war between two KGB-mafia networks we stumbled ignorantly and foolishly into because the west’s political class were programmed by university to be clowns. youtu.be/nuu3ShNddKA?si=R2dj…
The murder inquiry outlasted the premierships of Johnson, Truss, Sunak, Starmer so Qs not limited to one PM or party — as for the current administration, @wesstreeting confirmed last night he will *not* meet the SAS men involved or their lawyers. Per sources, this is because some have submitted complaints to military police. I assume this reflects the fact defence secretary also oversees military law enforcement — a tension that apparently meant the MoD was unable to give any meaningful comment or view on the whole affair. That includes SAS men sent out of helicopters into nighttime battle against ISIS 48 hours after police interviews, and having homes raided and murder allegation raised before families.
