Even under the darkness of night, the streets of Rawalakot remain alive with people standing firm for their rights. Despite months of curfew, tear gas, bullets, injuries, detentions and massacre, the peaceful demonstration refuses to go home. Their demand is simple - listen to them. A peaceful nation does not deserve bullets in return for its voice

Against the massacre of the people of Rawalakot, trapped under a strict curfew, unarmed protesters who took to the streets in Muzaffarabad are being met with tear gas and direct firing. For five months, the whole of Azad Kashmir has been gripped by oppression, violence and protests
🆘 : This is the scene from last night in Rawalakot. Even amid the thunder of bullets, the people did not step back. They kept raising slogans for peace, justice, and the restoration of their usurped rights.
The unarmed people had no weapons in their hands. They had only their voice, and that voice was louder than the bullets.

Peaceful Protests Continue in Azad Kashmir for Five Months; Over 100 martyred 🔥
Peaceful protests have continued for the past five months across Azad Kashmir, with demonstrations also reported in the UK, the US, several European countries, major cities of Pakistan, and at the local level.
According to reports, more than 100 protesters have lost their lives, thousands of innocent people remain behind bars, while hundreds have sustained injuries. Rawalakot, which is considered the epicentre of the protests, remains under curfew.
Despite the escalating tensions, the situation appears to have gone unnoticed by both the authorities and the mainstream Pakistani media. The demands of the protesters remain unaddressed, while they continue to be denied permission to hold a peaceful march towards the capital city, Muzaffarabad.
Observers say that if any form of governance exists in the region, it must initiate dialogue with the protesters to prevent further deterioration of the situation.
