Trying to balance my wireless configurations with other protocols. WLC ,APs setup and Native application for wireless communication are enough to get your hands dirty. Still building the network sha #CCNA #Networking #Learning

Funny how I got a question wrong on this. Though, my thought was that only DHCP uses this for communication but NO, other protocols such as TFTP also use this.

This packet tracer is frustrating me 😪

Just learnt about Syslog, NTP, CDP, and LLDP. I configured them with multi-area OSPF. Discovered some cool new tricks too, like using a loopback interface to keep NTP always active on d device though couldn’t use it in PT #CCNA #Cisco #networking

One of the most overlooked settings in network configuration is autonegotiation. I once watched my boss spend 4 hours troubleshooting a production network issue, only to find out a duplex mismatch was the culprit.

If you're an African looking for a job on LinkedIn, please stop leaving your career to the algorithm. 200 connections are not enough. And posting every day won't magically get you a job. Here's what many LinkedIn coaches won't tell you: Your network matters as much as your content. Who are the people in your network? Are they recruiters? Hiring managers? People working in your target industry? People who can refer you when an opportunity comes up? You need to understand the demographics of your network. Having 200 connections is one thing. Having 2,000 connections who work in your target industry is another. The goal isn't just to grow your numbers. It's to build a network that gives you access to opportunities. Yes, keep posting. Build your personal brand. Share your knowledge. But don't stop there. Connect with the right people. Engage with them. Build genuine relationships. Let people know what you do. Stop leaving your career to the algorithm. Build a network that can open doors for you.

It's dope configuring route redistribution on Pnetlab cuz I was able to use some command that wasn't allowed in packet tracer. It helped understand how routes learned through one routing protocol can be advertised into another. Onto GRE tunnelling... #Networking #CCNA

Road to network automation. Day 8: I learnt about how to use logic and bit operation in python and ended today’s lesson with python lists. #python #NetworkAutomation #ccna

Part of what i accomplished today was setting up and configuring multi-area OSPF on PNETLAB. This took me 2.5hrs to setup and the lab was successful ✅. The PCs were able to obtain IP automatically and ping eachother successfully. #networking #ccna

Do you know you can tag a trunk port either as ISL or 802.1q. But 802.1q tag is the most commonly used one. It consists of two main parts;TPID and TCI. Explain them in your own terms #networking #ccna #question

I started taking Python Essentials 1 on Cisco NetAcad because I’m planning to learn network automation using Python. Are there any platforms with hands-on scenarios that would be valuable for this learning process? #python #NetDevOps #NetworkAutomation

What I worked on today...I moved my DHCP configuration away from the dedicated server to the edger router, when I keep getting intermittent ip leasing. Going to work on the ACLs, NAT and Redistribution in my next configuration.

I’ve been working with packet tracer for a while. Now, I decided to start using PNETLAB again. I love the GUI but my laptop fan has been shouting since I turned the VM up 😅. One of the reasons why I stopped using it for labs.

Staying consistent may seem challenging at the moment, but keep your chin up and continue to show up every day. Your dedication will pay off, and every small step you take brings you closer to your goals. Remember, success is built on persistence, and your commitment will lead to remarkable results. Keep pushing forward! - First time configuring NAT on a live network. Happy new month Geeks🖥️ #CTO.
