You would not know, and that is exactly the horror of abortion. A child who is killed in the womb loses every tomorrow she would ever have, and the world just moves on like she never existed. Not knowing you were killed does not make the killing right.

Today is the National Day for the Victims of Communism. Communism killed more than 100 million people in the 20th century.
This memorial, The Memorial to the Victims of Communism in Prague, powerfully captures what communism does to the human person.
PARENTS: If your son plays sports, hear me out.
Predators are targeting athletes on purpose.
Boys with a platform.
A reputation.
A starting spot.
Something to protect — that’s exactly why they’re picked.
The scheme: a predator poses as a girl, sends an explicit photo, and once your son sends one back — the trap closes. “We got you now.”
This moves fast. Faster than most parents realize. Shame keeps boys silent, and silence is what predators are counting on.
This is a growing crime and it’s happening on the same apps your son uses every day.
Have this conversation before he needs it: if this ever happens, he comes to you.
No shame. No punishment. Just help.

Considering Texas voters seem to want to turn that state into California, I’ll tell you that you’re going to need a lot more money. No income tax and moderate sales tax? You’ll never have the cash for aimless programs like we have in CA. I expect the first thing these new TX politicians will do is jack up every tax they can manipulate. Sales tax and property tax will get higher instantly, and expect some crazy gas tax, too. They’ll say it’s for “the roads and the schools.” That’s how you know it’s earmarked to steal.
(Chart below does not show that LA sales tax is 11.4%. Also, gas tax + sales tax per gallon often makes our gas prices close to double the national average.)

Another massacre of Christians in Ethiopia
50 Christians murdered yesterday
60 were murdered the other week
When will world leaders condemn the slaughter of Christians?
Or don’t our lives count?
🚨 Over 50 Orthodox Christians massacred in Endeto, Arsi, today, one week after 60 Christians were killed in the same area
Another deadly attack targeting Ethiopian Orthodox Christians took place on November 5th, 2026, in Endeto, Arsi, Oromia Region, just one week after a separate massacre claimed the lives of more than 60 Orthodox Christians in the area. According to local sources, more than 50 bodies had been recovered by Thursday evening following an assault involving armed militants equipped with mortars, sniper rifles and other weapons. The attackers also looted Christian-owned homes and businesses, seized livestock and destroyed property, while bodies remained scattered across nearby forests. Local sources identified the attackers as members of the Maddawalaabuu Brigade, an armed group backed by the government that was also involved in last week’s killings in Birbona and Chole Kebeles of Shirka Woreda.
Reports have emerged concerning the involvement of local government officials in facilitating the attack. Residents reportedly warned authorities days beforehand after observing armed gatherings and weapons being unloaded at a local mosque, but their warnings were dismissed. Woreda officials allegedly contacted zonal and regional authorities to reject additional security reinforcements, claiming sufficient forces were already available, while access roads were reportedly dug up to obstruct the arrival of ENDF troops. Sources further allege that local officials confiscated weapons from Christian residents while allowing other armed groups to retain weapons, leaving Orthodox Christian militia members severely outgunned. Several militia members were reportedly killed within minutes of confronting the attackers. ENDF reinforcements eventually reached the area after dark and began recovering bodies.

Death is an irreversible state, a condition not capable of being medically reversed.
US law reflects this, requiring the IRREVERSIBLE cessation of circulatory/respiratory or brain/brainstem function.
But in order to get more viable organs for transplants, doctors are now using the word “permanent” when they declare death.
Permanent means that the patient is unlikely to recover spontaneously, and that NO INTERVENTION will be made to improve their condition.
This is like saying a drowning man is dead already because no one is going to swim out to save him.
US doctors are not following the law when they use a “permanent” instead of an “irreversible” standard.
Rainer Beckmann and Georg M. Stoffel have just written a review for the Swiss Medical Weekly explaining how a “permanent” definition of death undermines the dead donor rule:
“By adopting permanence as the operative standard, these guidelines risk undermining the dead donor rule, which requires that organ retrieval occur only after death has been definitively established.”

My wife has taught high school in Tokyo for twenty years.
Every year, a few of her students spend a year living with a family in America. When they come home, she asks each of them one question.
"What do you miss?"
She expects hamburgers.
She almost never gets hamburgers.
And these aren't old stories. Most of these kids came home in the last two years.
"Every time I left the house, my host mom said, 'Text me when you get there.' In Japan, nobody needs to know where I am. In Ohio, somebody always did." (Mina, 17, Ohio)
"If you walk toward a door, an American will hold it open. Even if you are very far away. So you have to run. I ran to so many doors." (Itsuki, 16, Georgia)
"My host brother screamed on the floor of a grocery store. A stranger walked by and said to my host mom, 'You're doing great, Mama.' She almost cried. I didn't know strangers were allowed to say that." (Aoi, 17, Texas)
"We went away for the weekend and left our trash can at the curb. When we got back, it was by the garage. Nobody said who. My host dad said if it had been there one more day, the neighbor would have knocked." (Haruto, 16, Minnesota)
"A car got stuck in the snow in front of our house. Four men came out of four houses. Nobody called them. They pushed, the car drove away, and they went back inside without saying their names." (Ren, 17, Michigan)
"Every American has jumper cables. Maybe half of them know which clip goes where. The other half help anyway." (Shin, 16, Montana)
"In July, my host family put a cooler on the porch. Cold water, snacks, and a sign: 'For our delivery drivers. Thank you!' I asked if they knew the drivers. They said no." (Nanami, 16, Arizona)
"Downtown, there are banners on the lampposts. Photos of soldiers from the town. Some old, some very young. My host grandpa walked me down the street and told me every name." (Yuna, 16, Iowa)
"I got a C-plus on my first test. My host dad said, 'I'm proud of you,' and put it on the fridge. In Japan, nobody is proud of a C-plus." (Takeru, 17, Pennsylvania)
Then the quietest girl in the class raised her hand.
Sora. Seventeen. Missouri.
"Nobody asks me 'home safe?' anymore," she said.
She was wrong.
In September, there was a typhoon warning for Tokyo. At 2 a.m., Sora's phone lit up.
It was her host mom. In Missouri. Watching the weather in a country she had never been to.
"Saw the storm. You home safe?"
Sora told my wife she cried for a long time. Then she typed the answer she had typed a hundred times, from football games and friends' driveways.
"Home safe."
Her host mom wrote back one line.
"Good. That's all I needed."
My wife has asked that question for twenty years. Not one kid has ever said they missed how big America is.
They miss how America says goodbye. And how it checks that you got home.
So, America. You think you've lost something.
You haven't. It's on a porch in Arizona. It's pushing a car in Michigan. It's awake at 2 a.m. in Missouri, watching our weather.
You don't remember doing any of it.
A kid in Tokyo will never forget.

There's a saying on American social media:
"Be the American that Japanese people think you are."
I'm Japanese. I've lived in Tokyo my whole life.
So let me tell you what we actually say about you, when you're not in the room.
"When someone falls down on the street, we pretend not to see. We're protecting their pride. Americans run straight at them. They don't care about the pride. They care about the knee." (Office worker, 38)
"An American will stop four lanes of traffic for a family of ducks. And then everyone in the cars claps for the ducks." (Taxi driver, 61)
"If you lend an American a pen, you will never see it again. If you need a kidney, they'll ask your blood type." (Nurse, 45)
"At kids' soccer games, they cheer when the other team's kid scores. The other team's parents look confused. Then they cheer too." (Youth soccer coach, 52, lived one year in Ohio)
"A man sneezed on a bus in Chicago. Eleven strangers said 'Bless you.' He said 'thank you' eleven times. Nobody on that bus thought this was strange." (University student, 21)
"At an airport in Texas, I watched a soldier try to pay for his lunch. The cashier said someone already had. He asked who. She said, 'Somebody who didn't want you to know.'" (Retired teacher, 70)
"American fathers cannot braid hair. But they will watch a video at midnight for an hour so their daughter's hair looks right on picture day." (Hair stylist, 33)
"I ran the Chicago Marathon once. Strangers stood in the cold for hours holding signs for people they will never meet. At mile 20, a man I'd never seen read the name off my bib and screamed it like he'd raised me." (Runner, 48)
"When Americans get lost, they ask a stranger. If the stranger is also lost, they become a team." (Tour guide, 39)
"They ask the waitress her name. And then they remember it." (Restaurant owner, 66)
And one more. From my father. He's 76. He doesn't say much about anything. This is the longest thing I have ever heard him say about another country.
"Every time something terrible happens in America, I watch the news, and I look for one thing.
The people running toward it.
There are always so many."
So, America.
You don't have to become the Americans we think you are.
We're not imagining you.
We're remembering you.

Where is the outrage?
One should be capable, mature, & rational enough to disagree & voice your own opinion on a state university campus without turning to physical violence & death threats. Is this how she chooses to deal with any situation in which she has a vastly different worldview?

Standing up for the protection of, accessibility to, proper treatment of, dignity for, safety within, the realm of where woman & girls compete in sports (as to governments, judiciaries, sports institutions, schools, physicians, trainers/couches, legislative entities) MATTERS.
How much does it take to understand the character of a man?
It’s been a few years (Jan-June 2023) since our finest wrestlers were dragged onto the streets, a stone’s throw from Parliament, while the government looked on with the rapt attention of watching a reality TV show.
Who doesn’t know Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh? Don’t we understand the stripes of the beast? It lurks in society. Insecure men, used to getting what they want, barking commands while an army of uneducated foot soldiers act on their behalf.
Men like these usually don’t have a spine. Brought up in a culture where women remain in the shadows, they can’t fathom women on a wrestling mat; they want control there too. Touch and feel are lesser crimes to them. They want to control your soul, because that is their calling card to the outside world: fear, intimidation, and your career and life held like a steering wheel in their hands. You are a puppet. No less.
The world watches this theatre. No one reacts. Those who support this are cut from the same cloth; intimidation is their weapon of choice.
For Vinesh Phogat, in a normal world, a just society, she would be a rock star, feted at every step. It’s a tragedy that between her and the wrestling world changing in India, the difference was a mere 100 grams. The difference between getting a new order and dispatching the old. A gold or a silver might have changed the trajectory of how we perceive these feudal lords sitting over National Sports Federations.
For every medal won, how many souls get crushed? How much self-respect and dignity does one lose in the process?
But look closely, and you realize this is a global script.
From Larry Nassar and the complicit executives at USA Gymnastics who silenced young girls for decades to protect their brand, to the “monster” coaches in South Korea’s short-track speed skating who battered Olympic champions in the dark while bureaucrats looked away, the rot is identical.
These fiefdoms always operate on the same blueprint: tolerate the abuse, reward the tyrant, and protect the system as long as the medals keep coming. The fallout we see today is just the bursting of a boil that has been festering for decades.
Such a contrast: A world aligning itself to AI also has a rogue still living in a feudal mindset.
Sadly, it has taken the High Court to order correctness. While the Sports Ministry sat silent, the Delhi High Court had to step in to stop a vindictive federation from blocking Vinesh’s comeback after her maternity break. When the WFI callously labeled her Olympic heartbreak a “national shame” in a show-cause notice, the court fired back with standard human decency: “Motherhood is celebrated in this country... Do not act out of vengeance.”
Neither the Sports Ministers nor the so-called ‘literate’ bureaucrats had the balls to say “enough is enough” until forced by a bench.
How much of ‘us’ do we lose to these medieval minds? Till when must we count the number of women wrestlers who dare the system against the endless numbers we lose to the ones who simply give up?
Postscript: South Korean Speed Skating coach Cho Jae-beom was sentenced to more than ten years for sexually assaulting double Olympic gold medallist Shim Suk-hee.
Judge sentenced Larry Nassar to 40 years to 175 years in prison. USA Gymnastics agreed to pay (2021) the survivors $380 million. The Justice Department agreed to pay $138.7 million to settle claims that the FBI failed to conduct adequate investigations of Nassar’s conduct.

1) THIS IS despicable. Yet, what consequences do such evil political actors’ face? There seems to be NO downside for them. When the Dem Party strategists/members claim their party is “saving democracy” don’t buy it.
