Games I Beat in 2026 Game 1: Final Fantasy. Super charming and basic. Generic enemies mixed with future series staples. Good to see where it came from. Went in blind, made many mistakes. Chaos, especially in the Pixel Remaster, was one of the worst, hardest endgame bosses I've fought. However, it was one of the most satisfying. Overall: B+

I agree that many of these badly written games have woke writing. But I can explain when something is woke beyond a gay or minority being in a game. That’s the issue with this new batch of the retard right. They show a 15-second clip, then make a 10-minute video saying why something is “woke” with insane lists. It’s picking and choosing and moving the goalposts. They claim to be “chuds” who control the industry but don’t even know what they control. You guys just attack everything, like trying to make Space Marine 2 sound woke because a tranny worked on the game’s writing.

I love looking at this list and seeing the sanity these people put on here as woke. Dead Rising 4 had one of the worst development cycles because Capcom and Microsoft had two different visions for the game. The developers knew the studio would shut down after Capcom rejected pitch after pitch and only wanted the same type of Dead Rising game. These people don’t know shit about gaming.

People complain about wanting games to evolve with new IPs. Square gave so many turn-based JRPGs that feel like old-school Final Fantasy, plus ports of the old VI and Japanese-only games like Live A Live that most Americans never played. But what they’re going insane for is a memberberry slop game they suddenly pretend to like because the algorithm says it’s okay. I don’t trust them on gaming; they’re all wannabe frontrunners.

People are acting like 26 people laid off almost 2 years later means they’re correct about what, I don’t know. @SmashJT, you really are trying too hard to get a W from utter nonsense, man. They even put out DLC, bro. But hey, you need to try hard, I guess.

I don’t like when people lose their jobs, but there’s a truth many have said for years: AAA development and others in gaming need a correction. Today it’s easier than ever for indie devs to make a game and become financially stable. Yet because so many can flood the market, AAA-level devs face higher stakes from $70+ price tags, budgets of hundreds of millions, intense scrutiny, and long development times. These companies can no longer invest in indie-level games unless they’re massive hits. In an open, honest conversation, we’d admit woke isn’t the #1 killer of these studios. It’s not really corporate greed either. It’s mismanagement and making products nobody wants to buy in mass. Negative PR around gaming also drowns out an amazing run of great games.

Today’s my wife’s and mine’s 7th anniversary of being married. Crazy how fast 7 years feel. Been all over the USA with her, yet the most fun is little drives to a local market. Couldn’t think of a better co-pilot on all these adventures.
