Christmas is a vital time for Big Issue vendors. Every sale matters every week. But as the days grow colder, sales are even more significant. Over Christmas the price of the Big Issue rises a little to allow every person to earn more on every sale – from next week, the price of the magazine will rise to £5 per edition, from the standard £4. Vendors will buy each copy for £2.50 and sell for £5, making an extra 50p each time. For the next four weeks, we are also increasing the size of the Christmas bumper editions – more pages, more great content for you. Please buy the four Christmas editions from your local vendor, if you cant reach a vendor buy Vendor Support Kit online 👇 bigissue.com/christmas Every kit purchased helps vendors keep themselves warm, dry, fed, earning, and progressing. Our very own André Rostant has written for @mysohotimes. Insightful as always: 💬Selling The Big Issue is different... you present people with homelessness that is not helpless – they can take it or leave it, but can’t ignore it.

📢 PSA: The Muffin Man has hit the shelves in @Waterstones and @Foyles. Get it while it's hot 🔥 The debut by #BigIssue vendor Andre Rostant @badthink explores life in Soho from a vendor's perspective. It’s a viewpoint we need on the page, and we love seeing it in the shops.
