The fear is not free.
It costs roughly $1 trillion a year.
That’s the U.S. "defense" budget.
Not the country being feared. The country doing the fearing.
Think about that arithmetic for a moment.
The nations you’re taught to lie awake worrying about combined spend a fraction of that figure. Some of them are under sanctions that make feeding their own populations difficult.
The fear industry, from the think tanks and contractors to the congressional districts with a Lockheed Martin plant that cannot afford to stop producing weapons because the jobs are the votes, needs you afraid.
Not occasionally. Not in proportion to actual threat.
Permanently. Reliably. On a renewable annual cycle that lines up with the budget vote.
Your fear is not a response to danger.
Your fear is a line item.

Marco Rubio just explained the Venezuela oil deal in one word: China.
Speaking on Monday, Rubio said most of the fields handed to the US-backed company had previously been held or operated by Chinese or Russian firms.
The deal:
> 100-year concessions
> 17 Venezuelan oilfields
> about 65 billion barrels of proven reserves
> US access to those reserves "in a crisis"
ONE HUNDRED YEARS.
Even Maria Corina Machado, Washington's favourite opposition leader, is now challenging the arrangement.
Chinese and Russian companies worked those fields under contracts with Caracas. Now they are pushed aside and the oil is locked up for a century for a US-backed company.
That is not a free market. It's a takeover with a State Department briefing attached.
And they still call China the "predatory lender".

As I presented my latest report at the UN two days ago, the US ambassador managed to be even more insulting than Israel’s. No small feat, given that Israeli representatives at UN in New York have long been second to none in diplomatic buffoonery.
At the UN on Monday, Israel's ambassador called @FranceskAlbs a fraud and a liar. The US representative called her a lunatic.
Her report documents nearly 300 journalists killed in Gaza. Of course, neither of them addressed it.
Then she answered.

China literally turns extreme pressure into an industrial advantage.
Inside these factories, massive presses weighing tons recreate the conditions needed to grow real diamonds from carbon. Using HPHT technology, Chinese engineers can produce diamonds in days or weeks instead of waiting billions of years for nature.
China dominates the lab-grown diamond industry, with Henan at its heart. And these diamonds aren't just for jewelry; they're increasingly valuable for industrial applications, including heat management in advanced electronics.

Is this the same IAEA who gave info to Israel that helped them murder Iranian Nuclear Scientists..? Does @rafaelgrossi have a problem with the 'restricted access' to Israeli Nuclear Sites..? Or does Israel get a free pass again..?
The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, says there is no evidence Iran has rebuilt nuclear sites damaged by US-Israeli strikes, but warns restricted access prevents verification.

“Do you understand who you are dealing with? This is America. Back up.”
A United Nations meeting was dramatically suspended yesterday after US ambassador Mike Waltz and Cuban foreign minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla both ignored the chair’s plea for order in the chamber.
The problem started when Waltz blamed Cubans for the shocking US embargoes and blockades that are causing huge suffering to the people of the island.
Cuban representatives, astonished at the way Waltz blamed the victims for the crisis, in their eyes, stood up and objected, citing Rule 71, which allows listeners to raise a point of order.
Ambassador Waltz responded that the Cubans didn’t like the substance of his speech, so were not raising a point of order.
But when complaints continued, this caused Ambassador Waltz to lose his temper and shout “Back up! Back away. Do you understand what you’re dealing with? This is America.”
.
INTERNATIONAL TERRITORY
The rest of the United Nations was outraged by this attitude, as the UN building is legally international territory.
When Waltz refused to stop his tirade, Khalilur Rahman, chair of the 81st session, ordered that the meeting be instantly suspended. Waltz ignored him.
The meeting was then resumed, but footage of the argument created a huge storm on social media.
Some people in the US defended Waltz’s narrative, blaming Cubans for the suffering caused by the US embargos.
But much of the commentary from the rest of the world said that the United Nations, for the safety of the delegates and the organization itself, should no longer be situated in New York.
When New York was originally chosen as the site, the US pledged not to politicize US visa access to meetings—but has regularly broken the pledge, such as refusing to allow visas for Palestinians.

Cuba has a higher literacy rate than the United States.
It has a longer life expectancy than many countries far wealthier than it.
It produced a medical system capable of sending doctors to dozens of countries, including some that sanctioned it.
It did all of this under 66 years of economic blockade.
Now imagine what it might have built without the blockade.
The people who imposed the blockade have imagined this too.
That is why the blockade continued for 66 years.
Not because Cuba was failing.
Because Cuba was, in specific and inconvenient ways, succeeding.
And a Cuba that succeeded under its own system was more dangerous to the argument than a Cuba that failed.
The blockade was not punishment for failure.
It was prevention of success.

Many people might not know this, but what Iran is experiencing these days is quite similar to what Iran went through in the 80s!
We were dealing with internal conflict and armed groups that beheaded people simply for having different opinions (MEK). At the same time, Saddam was at our borders, and we were fighting an eight-year war…
Even during that period, Iran’s president was impeached (Banisadr)
And when I mention Saddam, remember that he wasn’t fighting Iran alone. He had the backing of Western countries. The US and several Western countries supported Iraq during the war; even Germany supplied Saddam with chemical weapons that were used against Iranians. People who lived through that era are still suffering from the consequences ( Search about, Operation Kheibar, Battle of the Majnoon Islands, and Operation Badr)
We’ve endured war, internal conflict, and foreign interference, and we still survived
So when you want to analyze the Iranians never underestimate their sense of resilience and their ability to fight back

Washington has long treated Latin America as its own “backyard,” subjecting the region to intervention, coercion, sanctions, and political pressure.
Beijing now says:
No.
At the United Nations General Assembly, China demanded that the United States immediately end its 64-year-long blockade and sanctions against Cuba.
As China put it:
“The adoption of this resolution by an overwhelming majority for 33 consecutive years reflects the conscience of humanity and demonstrates the power of justice.”
In plain English:
The United States does not get to violate the UN Charter, impose unilateral coercion for decades, and then appoint itself the guardian of the “international order.”
When the overwhelming majority of the world rejects your policy year after year, the problem is no longer the world.
It is you.

They tell you to be afraid of these countries.
And I want to ask you, seriously, to sit with this:
Name the last country Iran invaded.
Name the last country Cuba destabilized through a coup.
Name the last population North Korea bombed into the Stone Age.
Name the last foreign president China abducted in a military raid.
Now do the same exercise for the country that told you to be afraid.
The fear is a product.
It is manufactured, distributed, and renewed on a regular cycle because fear justifies the budget.
And the budget justifies the bases.
And the bases justify the fear.
You are not afraid because these countries are "dangerous."
You are afraid because someone, very powerful, very expensive, needs you to be.
Follow the money.
Follow the bases.
Follow the bombs.
And then ask yourself one more time:
Who, in this picture, should actually be afraid of whom?

Western financial media have developed a remarkable formula for reporting positive Chinese economic data:
China’s industrial profits rise 14.4%.
Semiconductor equipment profits jump 51.7%.
Optical-fiber profits rise more than sixfold.
Then immediately:
“weak demand”
“consumer bust”
“property downturn”
“employment crisis”
“local debt”
“bear market”
The numbers are allowed to be positive.
The narrative is not.

The DSRB is designed to act as a multinational "war bank" that leverages public backing to unlock massive amounts of private institutional capital. As one of the world's largest alternative asset managers, major financial players like Brookfield are structurally aligned with the bank's core mission to funnel private infrastructure and credit investments into allied defense supply chains.

The UN Human Rights Council confirmed that the US blockade against Cuba violates human rights and international law, citing Article 33 of Fourth Geneva Convention, which prohibits collective punishment.
Your administration is starving and killing babies in Cuba just like Israel is starving and killing babies in Gaza.
The U.S. sanctions against Cuba must be lifted immediately. This’s a crime against humanity.
The Castro regime has profited at the expense of the Cuban people with luxury cars, expensive watches and a private island resort. As I shared this with the world, regime thugs rushed the stage to interrupt my speech.
