Cool to see people understanding this update!
People who run communities have asked Discord for the option to make servers + channels web-searchable for a long time.
Really excited to see what FGC and speedrunning communities do with this.

smelly, this is very good actually, switching from forums to discord has been VERY bad for just googling stuff and this fixes that. and for the privacy concerns, only servers that anyone could already search and join (discoverable/public servers) are included!

we know that people have been concerned about public information being hard to find when it's on Discord, and we're fixing that by making discoverable servers indexable on the web! super hyped about this
If you've ever searched for a specific speedrun trick, someone has likely already answered it in a channel somewhere, in one of 63,000 Discoverable Servers. We’re updating Discoverable Servers to make those answers easier to find. View article

I wish we had more rail access across the US.
Amtrak this weekend was a very pleasant passenger experience:
1. Boarding process is easy… You simply walk onto the train and go
2. Train stations are right in the heart of town
3. Fewer luggage restrictions…
4. Freely walk between your seat, the observation car, or cafe car food/snacks
5. Bigger seats
6. More restrooms
7. No middle seat
8. Footrests
9. Bring your own food/drink more easily
10. Sleeper cabins
The list goes on…

Today we’re launching Worker Previews. Each Git branch gets a production-like place to run, with its own code, configuration, URL, observability, and state. cfl.re/4hgSuxf

We love how this doomo doomonstrates real-time intelligence and what can be doone with code + AI!

After co-inventing ChatGPT, I kept asking myself: why have superhuman chat models not led to AGI?
I’ve spent the last 2 years in stealth building a new way to train models (RLCD), and a new type of frontier AI model that we are releasing today: Jev
• 20-200x faster
• 40-400x cheaper (w/ output tokens free)
• Frontier composable intelligence optimized for decisions
AFAICT the shortest path to AI-based economic revolution
Got to listen to @CompleteSkeptic answer questions about this on Discord this afternoon... this claims are bold but seem pretty promising
