More women DIE giving birth in America than in any other developed country.
And no one wants to talk about why.
America spends $111 BILLION a year to deliver babies, yet thousands of mothers leave hospitals with trauma they can’t explain.
Lying on your back? It makes labor longer, more painful, and more dangerous.
How about Pitocin? The truth is frightening.
Here’s what no one is telling you about childbirth—and what every expectant parent needs to know.

Right, want to boost employment for American citizens, get rid of all employment related taxes at the federal level.

A document showing Black Americans petitioning Congress for an ex-slave pension Bill
Thousands of former slaves signed these petitions demanding pensions for their unpaid forced labor during slavery
Ironic watching legacy admissions folk who got where they are because of their daddy talk shit about DEI

This Foundational Black American Sista is speaking facts! We shouldn’t have to pay for records of our enslaved family members—it’s a form of ancestral enslavement
This argument is so unnecessary. Please realize that race and nationality have nothing to do with this debate. It’s a class debate…they’re using race as a smokescreen.

VC is not a great asset class if your goal is only IRR and not economic development because 1) most VCs suck 2) it’s too easy to beat VC returns in the public markets right now with immediate liquidity. All these mediocre VCs are ruining it for everyone.
The answer is mismanagement and lack of effective leadership at the national level. Members competent enough to pull these initiatives off tend to not want to deal with the political bullshit involved in getting things done through these overly bureaucratic, legacy orgs
To my Black Greek Divine 9 organizations I have a couple of questions:
Why doesn’t any Divine 9 organization own a hospital?
Why doesn’t any Divine 9 organization own any charter schools?
Why doesn’t any Divine 9 organization own any major media news outlet?
Why are there only 2 credit unions when there are 9 different organizations?
The Divine 9 are considered the most educated and connected people in the black community but yall do not have majority ownership in a single industry.
That’s a problem.
