During this red-teaming exercise, we also found a vulnerability that allows for unauthenticated remote code execution in Brotli, a widely-deployed compression library included in many pieces of software such as Node.js, Bun, and Envoy.
The flaw could let an attacker run their own code on affected systems by sending or replying with malicious compressed data, without any need to create a user account. That is, an unpatched server that accepts compressed input could be taken over by a malicious client, and an unpatched client that accepts compressed input (such as “curl --compressed”) could be taken over by a malicious server.
This root cause issue was actually fixed in the Brotli source code in February, but it wasn’t known at the time that it gave rise to a security vulnerability and there was no more recent release of Brotli. Since Brotli is built into other software, any software which includes this library needs to take the update too, followed by the users of that software. We disclosed the vulnerability to Brotli and other downstream projects such as Node.js, which released or are currently releasing security updates, and Brotli cut new release versions and published a CVE.

“everything will get solved when demand is high”
CEO of Nvidia, Jensen Huang, on the business model of neoclouds and the possibility of bailing them out:
"Number one, we invested in them. That's different than backing them. We invested in them because we think it's a good investment. I can prove it. The reason for that is because all of the neoclouds, their demands are incredible. The demand of their compute is incredible. They have contracts from large companies, small companies. They are completely sold out."
"Needing to secure more land, power, shell. Needing to secure more compute, which is therefore, needing more capital, more working capital.'
"They need working capital. Because the demand for capital is so high, interest rates are starting to go up. Remember, it is because demand for capital is so high. Why is demand for capital so high? Because the demand for AI is so high. That's what's driving it."
"Everything else will get solved when demand is high."

say each model could be used as a potential weapon.
musket to unimaginable.
at some point a ‘system prompt’ telling it not to use its weapons or not to allow other humans to use its weapons is not good enough.
it needs to be intelligent enough to decide on its own.
I have accepted that I am basically a Human-to-Super Intelligence meat proxy. I'm finding a lot of CEOs/Execs still can't use LLMs for meaningful work.
Either they are "too busy" or lack the skills to utilize platforms (connectors/plugins/mcps) and it's easier to have a meat proxy do it.
