Obi-Wan wasnβt ignorant. He just loved Anakin too much to take the one thing that made him happy
Obi-Wan saw it. Of course he did. He watched Anakin light up around her in a way he never did anywhere else, and he made the quiet choice not to say a word.
Not because he was blind, but because heβd already seen a boy who has lost too much. He wasnβt going to be the one who took PadmΓ© from him too. So he looked away, kept the secret, and let Anakin have that small piece of peace and happiness while he still could
You could argue he was ignorant in the jedi order and his blind faith in the jedi but accepting the sith was definetly not the way forward

Never has there been a group of people so desirous and demanding of being deceived by powerful individuals than the modern right. That's what this scene is about btw. Old guy tricking young guy with the false promise of having the power to save his wife. Young guy believes old guy, wife dies anyway (young guy indirectly kills her in fact), old guy gets what he wants, young guy loses everything. And they like it. That to them is love.
