John Goodman says he was 'hurt' by the reactions to Digger and says the critics 'killed [the movie] before it opened', but says he's still 'proud of it' and that 'it's gonna be around for a long time', comparing it to The Big Lebowski, Speed Racer and Barton Fink.

John Goodman opened up about how the negative reviews for Digger HURT him, saying critics practically KILLED the movie before it even opened, but he still hopes it finds an audience over time like The Big Lebowski and Speed Racer πŸ‘€ β€œYeah, it hurt. They kind of killed us before we opened. β€˜This will only make $5,’ and it’s a good reason for people to avoid it. I’m proud of it, and I had a ball doing it.”

I can’t see this going well. I do a lot of business calls daily. Imagine going forward and explaining what time zone you’re in? You can’t refer a time zone and know what time it is anymore.
