"Without providing evidence?" El-Sayed literally signed a letter in 2012 in support of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. His campaign refuses to explain it. His sister said his family was MB. His father in law, who is a founding member of ISNA -- an offshoot of the MB -- donated hundreds of thousands to his campaign. There is not a single anti-MB measure he supports. He says about Islamic terrorists trying to murder Jewish kindergarteners, "Hurt people hurt people," and equates Dearborn-based terrorists trying to kill schoolkids with the IDF's targeted killing of Hezbollah members. He was caught on tape during this campaign saying he wouldn't say anything about Ayatollah Khamenei's death because too many of his constituents were upset about it. He campaigns with Hasan Piker, who says Hamas is better than Israel and speaks warmly of Hezbollah. There is no more thoroughly sourced claim in politics than that El-Sayed is sympathetic to radical Islam and connected to Islamic extremists.

“Ask yourself a simple question. Why is almost every celebrity on the same side? “Actors, singers, late-night hosts, award-show presenters. Thousands of people with different backgrounds, different lives, different temperaments. And somehow, on every major issue, they land on the exact same opinion, at the exact same moment, with the exact same hashtags. Free minds don't behave like that. An ecosystem does. “Now ask a second question. Elon Musk is landing rockets on their own tails. He's bringing internet to villages that never had a phone line. He's building cars that drive themselves and implants that let paralyzed people move a cursor with their thoughts. Artists are supposed to be the ones who dream about the future. Here is a man actually building it. How many of them stand next to him? A handful. Why? “Because Hollywood is not a free market of talent. It's a royal court. “A young actor doesn't make it because he's good. Hundreds are good. He makes it because someone lets him in: an agent, a casting director, a producer, a studio, an awards committee. Every step is a gate, and every gate has a keeper. When your whole career depends on a few rooms, you learn very quickly what can be said in those rooms and what can't. “This is how it works. First you stay silent. Then you nod. Then you repeat. Then you believe. Compromise never arrives all at once. It arrives one dinner, one role, one red carpet at a time. And once you've given up enough, you need the system to stay in place, because the system is the only thing that makes the sacrifice worth it. “Want to see the whole mechanism in a single story? For decades, one of the most powerful producers in Hollywood was the subject of accusations from dozens of women, and much of the industry treated it as an open secret. A host even joked about it at an Oscar nominations announcement, and the room laughed. Speaking up seriously meant losing everything. When the truth finally broke, the same industry dressed in black and applauded its own courage. Silence while it pays. Virtue once it's safe. That's the system. “And that's the real lie. Not that these people are monsters. Most aren't. The lie is calling it courage. Real courage costs you something. Saying what every room in town already applauds costs nothing. Saying the opposite is what costs. That's why so few artists stand with Elon. Not because they've studied his ideas and rejected them, but because standing there is a career risk they can't afford. “Look at what happened to him when he left the consensus. Advertisers fled. Friends disappeared. Invitations stopped. He could afford it. Almost nobody else can. That tells you exactly how free that world really is. “So wake up. Stop taking your political cues from people whose paycheck depends on agreeing. A celebrity endorsement is not an argument. It's a loyalty signal. Your vote, your convictions, your children's future: don't outsource them to people who are paid to recite lines someone else wrote. “The people who build the future rarely get applause from the people who perform it. “Think for yourself. It's the most American thing you can do.” —Brivael Le Pogam (@brivael), translated from French

Radical Concept: If Zohran Mamdani supported “Palestinians” but definitely not “terrorists”, he could have gone to a Palestinian restaurant to show support for them, but not for terrorists, on ANY OTHER DAY besides the anniversary of the deadliest terrorist attack in Israel’s history since 1948, and the bloodiest single day for Jewish people since the Holocaust.

At first, Jean-Pierre did not understand. He watched the evening news, paid his taxes, voted responsibly and believed what respectable people told him. 1. France needed immigration because the economy needed workers. 2. Diversity was an opportunity. 3. Public services were under pressure because they lacked funding. 4. Disorder at school was caused by inequality. 5. Crime statistics required context. 6. Anyone who connected these things too quickly was probably an extremist. Then his children started coming home from school saying they could barely hear the teacher. Half the lesson was spent restoring order. Teachers changed constantly. Some simply disappeared for weeks. Jean-Pierre complained once, politely. The administration explained that the situation was “challenging” and that the school was developing an “inclusive pedagogical response.” Jean-Pierre went home reassured. There were professionals dealing with it. His neighbourhood changed too. Shops closed. Others appeared. Groups of men occupied the same corners every evening. His wife stopped taking one street after dark. Jean-Pierre noticed all of this, but he had also learned that noticing patterns was dangerous. So every event remained an isolated event. One closed shop meant nothing. One assault meant nothing. Ten incidents meant ten unrelated incidents. Only a racist would connect dots. Then his daughter was sexually assaulted by a man who had recently arrived in France. Jean-Pierre was devastated. But almost immediately he began policing his own thoughts. The attacker was an individual. Of course. One must never generalise. The television explained that exploiting such crimes politically was irresponsible. A minister warned against “stigmatisation.” Jean-Pierre found himself nodding through tears. What had happened to his daughter was monstrous, but the truly frightening possibility, apparently, was that somebody somewhere might vote for the wrong party because of it. Nothing changed. His son’s school became worse. His daughter stopped going out alone. His wife wanted to move. The police were exhausted. The teachers were exhausted. The hospitals were exhausted. Jean-Pierre was exhausted. Yet every explanation he had been given required him to believe that each deterioration was temporary, accidental, exaggerated or caused by something entirely unrelated to the deterioration immediately beside it. And whenever somebody proposed that perhaps the country had made serious mistakes — about migration, authority, education, policing, integration, punishment or borders — Jean-Pierre knew the correct answer. “Careful. That sounds like the far right.” So he remained reasonable. He remained moderate. He remained informed. He remained completely incapable of drawing a conclusion from his own life. So at first, Jean-Pierre did not understand. And he still does not understand.

It is a curious philosophy: poverty supposedly makes people steal, while wealth apparently makes them thieves. One begins to suspect the crime is simply having whatever amount of money the argument currently requires.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres said: “I have never seen killing and destruction like Gaza in all my years as Secretary-General.” According to even the most critical reports, Guterres, 70,000 people were killed in the war in Gaza, a large proportion of them Hamas terrorists. During your years as Secretary-General: more than 600,000 people were massacred or starved to death in Ethiopia. 377,000 died in Yemen — that figure appears in reports issued by your own organization. 150,000 were killed in Sudan and 12 million were displaced. Hundreds of thousands have been buried in Ukraine. You didn’t see it? They died before your eyes. You simply looked the other way, because the Jews couldn’t be blamed.

This whole Macklemore situation is so spiritually Palestinian. Ed Sheeran became one of the biggest musicians in the world by writing good music, he built an audience, and people spend hundreds of dollars to come hear his music. Macklemore gets invited onto that stage and decides to hijack Ed Sheeran’s concert for his political rally. Ed built the stage and brought the audience, and Macklemore decided he was entitled to commandeer it for his demented cause. And when Ed Sheeran tells him this is a concert, not a political rally, and he doesn’t want to take sides, he becomes the villain. This is Palestinianism. You build nothing. You bite the hand that feeds you. You leech onto things other people built and destroy them. These parasites have hijacked every institution, every cultural event, everything other people built, and feel entitled to selfishly destroy it for their tribal clan politics.

Alice Nderitu. Most people don't know that name. I talk about her all the time. Why is she important? She was one of the world's preeminent experts on genocide. She's a Kenyan woman, not a Jew, not married to a Jew, obviously not Israeli. She rose in the ranks of international communities around the world because of her tremendous expertise in this field. And she she reached the pinnacle of this field. She became the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Crime of Genocide and the Prevention of Genocide. She became the world's preeminent and most prominent source on whether genocides were happening around the world and how to prevent them. And she was adamant and clear that there was no genocide in Gaza, that it was the furthest thing from a genocide, that Israel spent tremendous amounts of money and effort and had an entire organization of its government devoted to preserving and protecting the lives of uninvolved Palestinian citizens. And then what did Alice Nderitu get for telling the truth at the United Nations? She was fired. Her contract was not renewed, and someone who would toe the party line was placed there in her stead. And it's the fact that no one even knows her name that shows you what it looks like to lose an information war in the West.

Western academia is a giant, supra-national safe space for leftist ideologues. Within its hallowed halls, leftists can spend their lives in a kind of fantastic alternate reality, confident that no one around them will be so gauche as to confront them with facts. For this reason, academia doesn’t just attract leftists, it attracts the most neurotic, emotionally fragile, and intellectually conforming leftists. This is the reason why leftist academics react with such outrage and horror when they find that somehow, in spite of all their precautions, a conservative has slipped into their midst and is asking questions. It is not just their ideology that is threatened, it is their tenuous grip on sanity.
