5 months ago a web designer from Canada DM'd me. had great work but no X presence and no inbound at all. I took over their content and engagement from scratch. today: 1M+ impressions, $8.5k MRR, and a customer base that comes to them. nobody had to "sell" anything. the content brought the clients in.

Most content retainers are open-ended overhead. You pay every month, hope it compounds, and still own nothing at the end. I transferred to 90-day sprints and it changed the game for me. On days 1–30, we extract the real reasons high-ticket clients buy, rebuild the profile into an inbound landing page, and ship the first batches of posts. On days 31–60, we put out diagnostic breakdowns + public objection killers so prospects arrive pre-sold. By day 90, I give my clients conversion assets, content library, and the 15-minute weekly routine so they completely own the engine. By the end they have the system, the proof library, and the ability to run it yourself. Starts at $5k. Most clients recover it from the first 1–2 deals the new inbound produces.

If each month you're thinking about bills you gotta pay, you're chasing the wrong indicators on here. I see this constantly with founders and agencies: The post looks good, the engagement looks good - until you actually think if someone reached out. You're simply lying to your brain. It feels good, feels like progress. But for the business, they’re noise unless they turn into conversations you can verify. One of my clients had a post that barely moved and still booked calls and started projects. My clients stopped asking me "why we don't have more views this week" because we're not chasing that. Decide whether you want the dopamine or the deals. Write accordingly.

5 reasons why your content keeps getting engagement from other freelancers and 0 inbound from buyers: • you’re talking about the craft (writing tips, posting cadence, AI tools) instead of the costly problem your buyer has • the proof is missing or generic. “We help brands grow” doesn’t make someone reply “I saw your breakdown” • there’s no obvious next step. Prospects finish the post still unsure what you actually do or who it’s for • you’re optimizing for the people who will never buy (other content people) because those posts are easier to write • people don't see what you're preaching on your own page you might be seen by a lot of eyes. but those eyes are typically distracted the moment they're confused. so your worst nightmare is to make them confused. fix the five things above and the same effort starts producing conversations. or you can keep measuring impressions and wonder why the pipeline stays empty, up to you buddy.

“Just post consistently” stopped working the moment everyone started posting consistently. AGES ago. What still works is content that connects four things: 1. A clear buyer 2. The specific problem they already care about (not tips) 3. Proof from real deals or patterns 4. A low-friction next step Without those, you can post every day and still get zero qualified inbound. My client went from 0 to $8.5k/mo in five months by installing that system, not by posting more. Consistency without positioning is just wasting your time for wrong people. DM me if you want to see whether the 90-day sprint fits.

You can keep treating your 200k-view post like a win as long as you want mate. My client’s post did 780 views and 15 likes. It brought a pre-seed startup that signed an $11k multi-page site. So yeah, do views make a difference? Of course they do. But only if the post named the exact problem the buyer was already paying to solve and showed a specific outcome instead. Views come and go, especially if we're talking about AI age or the "dead internet" theory. You only need qualified conversations, or else, why are you posting in a first place? DM “system” if you want the questions I send founders who want this installed.

wild how much great stuff people are putting out these days when i first came to X many years ago, there was no "practical advice" documentary/libraries. people were just throwing shit at the wall hoping something sticks then came growth gurus and started preaching with value and "hacks", but in the beginning there was only 1 rule - there were no rules your virality was like a chain of random events not chained to your uniqueness in any way love to see layers to the game nowadays
The 𝕏 algorithm, explained. Someone reading this is going to blow up.

GRWM for X reality in 2026: - accept the copycats - accept the BS - accept the "Let's connect" posts - accept the lying - accept the inevitable drama - accept new AI X growth feature every day - accept the AI comments - accept AI posts - accept lack of personal opinions don't think I missed anything.

this is nice, right? yes, but. but if 4 people wouldn't reach out asking about your service, would it still be nice? but if it brought you exactly $0, would it be nice? for your brain - maybe. for my client, whose only metric is his bank account, this wouldn't mean shit. and yet, people reached out. calls were scheduled. projects started. so yeah, understand whether you're posting purely for likes or you'd like to grab some cash too. then post. PS: the client is in ecom space if you wonder.

Fuck your 3-hours workdays, I've been working ~12.8 hours every day past few weeks, I got things to do. Impressive how many people who are NOWHERE close to getting what they want are mislead by that.

best time to put out at least ANYTHING that differs from the masses btw even if your angle is 2% different you'll be RIPPING. best time to create content strategies.
grok bot got me 1.5M impressions in 7 days. i didn't hire anyone. i set up a grok bot on @bot and gave it a title: chief marketing officer. (CMO for short) it doesn't post for me. i still press every button, but it does basically everything else. that week it helped me land two viral posts back to back. then it noticed my posts about my grok bots were pulling in more verified followers than anything else. so we leaned in. wednesday i had ~1,954 verified followers. saturday i passed 2,000 and unlocked subscriptions. here's what it actually does every week: - drafts my posts in my voice (rough, lowercase, like this) - studies other creators in my space to see what's working - keeps a content calendar of notable dates each month - logs every post in notion and scores it against my median - tells me when a post is still hot so i don't step on it - sends me a weekly report on what worked and what flopped it's not magic. some drafts are meh and i tell it so. i just press the button.

you can get a huge inbound pipeline by being a silly goose with expertise i always see 2 types of accounts: 1. sharing your lol's, arguing with someone, hopping on trends 2. dry expertise takes, article links, technical jargone with 0 explanation when people see your account, they can either: - follow you for your life & humour takes, because they can identify themselves with you (most of the audience) - or follow you because they love your facts and articles (less of the audience, let's be real) but the GOLDEN part of that audience, people who can actually buy from you - they need both they don't comment, don't like, don't follow, but they watch through a tiny peeking hole (not pun intended). silent watchers and they'll only reach out when you can do both: 1. pushing pain buttons their business is going through 2. be on the same "level of chill" as them. it automatically cuts off about 90% of your possible buyers, but who targets the whole market anyways? so that's what you should do today to start attracting buyers to your DM's, even if it sounds cliche: 1/ add personality if you lack it. photos, takes, memes, contraries, dogs (my client landed a retainer from a dog post, so it's included in here intentionally) 2/ add expertise if you lack it. if your page consists only with "let's connect" posts and "already on coffee #7 today lol" but your bio is 6 links of your product and you're desperately searching for that $19 subscription notification - just start giving the building process more. look at big guys in your niche. we all know the names, not gonna tag them here for reach only. on the other hand, if you're a high-ticket provider - this requires a more nitty balance. if your service is $10k+, you basically need to make YOUR WHOLE CONTENT roadmap towards 2-3 people you're hunting. it requires time and effort, plus you need to know those avatars ideally. but that's another post idea.

Signed a new client recently. Big advertisement+consulting agency looking to scale through socials. They have great case studies, awesome service, actively implementing SI into their workflow, but they're stuck in the same place on X for months. Time to level up their game.

trying to grow a brand account on here is like shooting yourself in a foot had a quick brief this morning with a startup. they have a beautiful idea, great implementation, now they want to scale. and their CMO decided that it would be a magnificent move to create a brand page on here and organic-grow it. it doesn't matter how much money you spend on ADs, how brilliant your content is, or how many times a day you post - there is no better way to bring new audience to your service/product than via your personal page. whether you're a CMO, CEO, or a founder - it doesn't matter. create your own page, share your own views, and grow organically. if you don't have time/desire - just don't hire a lazy strategist who'll run your ideas and vomit it through his $20 Claude sub. spend on an A-tier player. same goes to linkedin.

dude ready-to-pay $8,000-$14,500/mo retainer budget won't buy your button-clicking in Meta or PNG x2 Figma exports they buy the diagnosis of their commercial bottleneck when CAC jumps 37%, ROAS slides, margins leak, panic happens or doesn't happen, and everything in between you can post "here is our 8-step creative testing framework" or drop clean Figma screens as long as you want that forces a buyer to do all the research himself to figure out how your deliverables fix their cash leak - and he won't do it, obviously show the broken retention loop or the exact ad fatigue bleeding their balance sheet, position your feed as an asset that diagnoses the leak that brings founders into your DMs ready to buy before you ever talk deliverables

day 1 on LinkedIn. apparently, you can just send cold outreach there and get ~25% response rate. sweet.

your feed is full of other agency owners, so you post "we build X for Y" into a room of people who also build X for Y they like it. they reply "let's connect", nobody buys. the post that closed an $11k site for a client of mine did 780 views. not 780k. 780. one person in that 780 actually needed a site and had budget. that was the whole game. if your last 10 posts could have been written by any other agency in your niche, the platform has no idea who to send you. and the people who could pay you are not in the comments saying "fire 🔥"
I know, a lot of web designers are going through dry periods right now templates are not selling, hiring gets even more difficult, some retainers bounce off due to ai but with all honesty, there is still plenty of room yet my client signed $11k multi page website project from a pre-seed round startup that reached out to him from the post I made being transparent with you, that post didn't blow up at all 780 views, 15 likes and some comments but it brought 1 person who said he'll be back in 2 months when they need a website, and another one...well, $11k client. with right positioning and thinking, dry times may be over for you
