My chemist friend has a lab where he can make concentrates from flower. He wants to use them in edibles for personal use (i.e. non greasy cannabis gummy.) He seeks standardized techniques/methods having specific protocols and values (i.e. temperature.)

Apparently, the BlueLab pH pen needs at least 300 ppm in the solution in order to accurately test pH according to customer support. If tap water does not have this min. amount, I have been instructed to add salt. Has this been the case for anyone measuring tap water pH?

I was also told that my BlueLab pH pen would not accurately measure my solution of water and pH up because I don't have enough ppm in my water (30 ppm). In order to measure it accurately, I need to add table salt to the solution.
Can a high ppm in soil cause soil pH to drop over a grow cycle? I can't find any information backing up this claim.

Is this a toxicity from adding @GrotekNutrients monster blood mono potassium phosphate MPK ? I only fed twice. Only occurring on 1/8 plants Sun mar 21 Add ¾ tsp monster bloom/20 liters Mon mar 15 Add ½ tsp monster bloom/20 liters Day 24 since flipping. @ChimeraGenetics

I don't want to flush as its an organic soil grow , but I think I will only water with 5 tbsp/19 liters of epsom salts as stems are turning purple in flower. @TempleGrower

Shoutout to @LaurenceJeuness and @shaan__kapoor for putting unibot ws1 on my radar. I wonder how accurate the ph and ec sensors are and how much maintenance they require. Steep price point at 103$ compared to bluetooth grovee @ 20$, but its wifi.

The light sensor is already coming in use. I flipped to 12/12 10 days ago but My timer was off this entire time, meaning my light was on 24/7. the lumen chart indicated the light was on after 8 pm when it should have been off. I fixed my timer & I have finally flipped to 12/12.

What is a recommended organic powder amendment for cal mag? I have been adding 1 tbsp of Epsom salts in 3 gal pots every other watering during flowering. I will also start adding worm castings during my next watering.

I don't care if its organic but I am looking for a powder. How have growers fared with using glacial rock dust or warm castings to fix their calcium deficiencies?
