Sex Matters is heading to the High Court on 3rd and 4th November. We’re challenging the City of London Corporation’s decision to allow men who identify as women to use the Ladies’ Pond, including its changing rooms and showers. Its extraordinary the way people explain not having children. The truth is children give one a perspective and life affirmation that nothing else can. We parents have been childless and therefore we are uniquely informed about the difference. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Some of us were at school under Section 28. We remember what it cost young gay men to grow up surrounded by adults around who were too afraid to have our backs. The Draft Conversion Practices Bill could put Section 28 in the shade. It risks making it dangerous for parents, teachers and therapists to tell young gay men plainly that being gay is good and normal, or to help them question an identity that may lead them away from a healthy, happy future. Just for a reality check… Kathleen Ní Houlihan (Cathleen ni Houlihan) was not a real person but a symbolic personification of Ireland, representing Irish nationalism and the struggle for independence. She became famous through a 1902 play by W. B. Yeats and Lady Gregory, in which she appears as an elderly woman calling on young Irishmen to sacrifice themselves for Ireland's freedom. The character was originally played by Irish nationalist Maud Gonne. Just sayin… In any case, if by some slim chance this was a real ancestor you really wouldn’t go to London in merry old England, you’d be heading to Ireland.

Is this really the brave new world we want to live in? One that no longer acknowledges that there are men and there are women? Generations of women fought for sex-based rights in the face of a patriarchy that treated them as second-class citizens, controlled their bodies, diminished their achievements and put them at risk in all sorts of ways - from crash-test dummies based on male physiology to medical research and testing that disproportionately focused on men. And yet here we see a manifestation of modern progressivism in which, because of deranged gender ideology, women as a meaningful sex-based category are erased. So are men in this instance, but this nonsensical signage doesn’t put men at risk at all. Men don’t fear the possibility of a woman coming into the gents’ toilet. It doesn’t put them at risk of anything other than mild embarrassment. Women, by contrast, are being asked to accept the removal of sex-based safeguards in the name of a fake emancipatory movement that’s actually regressive - taking rights away from women, removing safeguards and gaslighting, condemning and ostracising anyone who disagrees. Whatever your politics, look at this and ask yourself: is this the future you want to see? Or do you prefer the common-sense values we all used to hold on to?

This change has to start with the parents. For us in the West we probably shouldn’t continue to allow teenagers to create their own culture. This has now gotten out of the control of the adults. Either that or the adults have shirked their responsibility in raising their kids once they’ve become teenagers

Whatever you think about David Walliams or his potential bad behaviour… has this man been found guilty of a crime? This is just cancel culture yet again. We are going down a very slippery slope with trial by virtue signalling public opinion.

Why is this "pan" and not "bi"? I admit to not understanding. This is rare and thus notable. Is it because "bi" makes one a "B", as in LGB (and thus "hateful") and "pan" makes one a "Q" or a "+" as in TQ+ (and thus virtuous)? Can it really be that silly and that simple?

A lot of people currently undergoing the so-called gender surgeries were socially transitioned when they were children in their secondary schools. Now these young adults when they are undergoing irreversible “sex reassignment surgeries”, it cannot be dismissed as “Adults” making informed decisions. This is because of the indoctrination that has happened in schools using trans toolkits. Hence, I am of the view, this gender treatment has been initiated in the school itself in the form of social transition, while they were in their early teens, and hence their consent is not valid. These surgeons are simply not giving a Vagina in the so-called Vaginoplasty and not giving a Penis in the so-called Phalloplasty. Sex cannot be re-assigned unless the genome of 30trillion human cells can be completely changed. Deception is a deception whether the person under-going these surgeries is a child, adolescent (age 18 to24), young adult (age 25to32) or even someone in their fifth decade of life or older.
