Look around India, Muslims serve with distinction in the Indian Armed Forces, police, judiciary, cinema, sports, media and virtually every walk of life. Yet, instead of receiving quality education and proper facilities, these children are allegedly being deprived of basic educational standards and subjected to physical abuse. Serious complaints of violence and mistreatment inside the hostel have also emerged. Is public money, meant to secure the future of Balochistan’s most vulnerable children, being used to serve personal friendships and connections instead? Who will ensure an independent and transparent investigation? Who will hold those responsible accountable and, above all, protect these children and safeguard their future? 🥲
