What do you see in this picture?
Trespassers who should be stopped?
Or people doing what we have done for centuries? Simply enjoying being in nature?

Brilliant afternoon #Paddlebording with @DefraGovUK Minister Trudy Harrison MP on #Wastwater . She was a natural!
So proud that she has invited me to join her working group helping make the Governments 15’ to nature commitment a reality.

The findings of the BBC investigation are alarming, but not unexpected...
We seem to be becoming accustomed to new stories about how water companies are seemingly getting away with destroying our nation's waterways.

Joint letter to @luhc & @DefraGovUK
❎#NutrientNeutrality proposals are wrong in principle: they weaken the law, threaten rivers & ignore #polluterpays
❎they're wrong in fact: house-building & nature protection can go hand-in-hand
❎the process has been awful: no consultation

Great to share some time with @catkinson80 last Friday talking about our amazing #RiverDerwent and the threats that it, and many other rivers face from #SewagePollution
@BritishCanoeing @JimfromOldham
Out on our stunning River Derwent with @BC_BenSeal from @BritishCanoeing. It was concerning to hear more about the sewage being dumped through the overflows when we have heavy rain.
We must keep the pressure on Government to take action to stop the pollution of our waterways.

Conservative voters feel Government is doing badly on water quality - our research found more than half say Gov is doing badly & only 9% say it is doing well
The PM's own voters are clear - they want more action to clean up rivers, not less
