Wednesday, 22 April, CONVERGE LIVE: @daisy_cai of @BCapitalGroup shares with CNBC's @cherykang and @dee_bosa the evolving landscape of software technology, saying the rise of AI agents is not an existential threat to the industry but rather a tech “restacking”. She highlighted that traditional SaaS models are being challenged as enterprises shift towards outcomes and efficiency, moving away from the focus on simply adding seats. #CNBCCONVERGELIVE cnb.cx/4vKWFI7

Ignore the panic from Citrini, and look beneath it at the opportunity in the transformation.
The real story of the Citrini memo that shook the markets this week isn’t the 24‑month collapse scenario it predicts. It's the structural shift underneath. In our new piece, The AI Labor Crisis Isn’t Coming in 2028. The Investment Opportunity Is Here Now, @yanda, General Partner, B Capital, and @rajganguly_, Co-Founder and Co-CEO, B Capital, argue that AI coworkers landing inside white-collar workflows is the first fault line of a broader transformation that is inevitable, but not apocalyptic. The Citrini piece overshoots on timeline, assuming quicker enterprise adoption and inert policy response. And it misses the massive investment opportunity that's happening right now. Read more about where we think durable value is likely to accrue in our response: b.capital/insights/the-ai-la…

Honored to be an investor in @GoodfireAI & to double down in this round. Modern parenting techniques were shaped by advances in cognitive & behavioral psychology. We need the same for models, so we can arrive at the abundant & collaborative future that is the promise of AI.
We raised a $150M Series B at a $1.25B valuation to fundamentally change the field of AI. Scaling is powerful, but we can't intentionally design what we don't understand.

"Today, there's the potential to leverage AI to take a team of 1 or 10 engineers and make it seem like a team of 5,000 engineers back then." While on stage at #WebSummitQatar, @esaverin, Co-founder of @BCapitalGroup & @Facebook, breaks down why AI is the ultimate equaliser for early-stage founders looking to disrupt global giants.

95% of enterprise AI pilots fail: not because the model is bad, because the environment is. For two years, AI progress just meant "the model got better." That era is ending. What matters now: can AI be a coworker, not just a tool? More at: b.capital/insights/where-ai-…

It was a pleasure to be on Founders & Builders with my friend & @wandb colleague @Joewearofficial. We cover a broad range: following your zone of genius & passion, choosing meaningful startup ideas, stacking the cards, & managing your own psychology through the rollercoaster.
Super excited for this special episode of Founders & Builders. @yanda is 4x founder, sold his company to LinkedIn before becoming an early angel + exec at @wandb (acquired by @CoreWeave for $1.7B). Today he’s at B Capital with Eduardo Saverin, leading investment into awesome companies like Perplexity. I was lucky to work with Yanda for 2 years, I’ve always admired his perspective from both sides of the founder/investor table. In this episode, he shares: 1. How to build a business (and a life) around what comes naturally to you 2. How to pick the right ideas and co-founders when the world is full of options 3. The real pattern behind every new technology wave (Yanda calls them sneaky big markets) 4. Why every startup is really just a series of experiments to see if a company deserves to exist Chapters: 00:00 Intro 02:10 What gets founders through dark times 05:40 Trend-chasing vs authentic problems 09:15 Effortless work and founder-market fit 12:50 The “Cheesecake Factory” problem of choice 16:05 How to pick the right market 19:20 Yanda’s founder journey 23:40 Quitting Google to build his first startup 27:50 Becoming an investor 31:10 Investing early in Weights & Biases 35:00 Sneaky big markets 38:45 AI agencies to in-house teams 42:20 Meditation and founder mindset 46:15 Permissionless leverage in 2025 50:30 What it’s all for #ai #yandaerlich

When it comes to growing a company, I believe partnerships are key. Sure, you can sit down and build a road map on how to do everything yourself, but that takes a lot of time. I sat down with Rich Lesser, Chair of @BCG, at the @BCapitalGroup CEO Summit, where we discussed how founders and CEOs can scale companies while navigating uncertainty and change. Here are 4 key takeaways for any founder, leader or entrepreneur: 1. Partnerships accelerate growth. You don’t have to build everything in-house. The right strategic partners can bring expertise, resources, and credibility that would take years to develop alone. 2. Speed matters. A decade-long roadmap is no longer a luxury any company can afford. In fast-moving markets, getting to impact faster often outweighs keeping 100% control. Progress beats perfection. 3. Boldness requires focus. Knowing when to pivot — and when to say no — is so important. 4. Purpose fuels performance and recovery is essential. It’s not a “nice-to-have” — it’s a growth driver. When your team takes care of themselves, they’re more resilient, creative and engaged. What are your tips for navigating change and uncertainty? I'd love to know in the comments.

We’re thrilled to partner with @axiommathai on its mission to build mathematical superintelligence. AI promises to usher in a new era of breakthroughs, but discovery in the most complex domains remains constrained by reasoning limitations. By combining AI, programming languages, and mathematics, Axiom is creating the foundation for verified quantitative reasoning—starting with an AI mathematician. CEO @CarinaLHong is joined by a passionate team of pioneers who have already used AI to shatter barriers across fields. Learn more: axiommath.ai | b.capital/why-we-invested/to…
