In January, 1969, the Free Breakfast for School Children Program was initiated at St. Augustine''s Church in Oakland by the Black Panther Party. The Panthers would cook and serve food to the pơor inner city youth of the area. Initially run out of a St. Augustine''s Church in Oakland, the Program became so popular that by the end of the year, the Panthers set up kitchens in cities across the nation, feeding over 10,000 children every day before they went to school.

I say it plainly: I do not celebrate Castro. I call Cuba what it is, an authoritarian regime, and I will fight for the Cuban families who fled it.
Meanwhile, Ashley Moody backs deporting Cuban families back to the regime they escaped.

Saying “I hate Jewish people” is antisemitism
Saying “I hate Israel for committing genocide” is NOT antisemitism.
Hope this helps.

Hey Republicans.
So why is it okay that Trump attacks Abdul El-Sayed for being Muslum?
But he brings this guy to the Oval Office?
And accepts a plane from Qatar?

BREAKING: The UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry has concluded that Israel has committed war crimes and crimes against humanity, including extermination, persecution, torture, rape and other forms of sexual violence, across the Occupied Palestinian Territory, while continuing the genocide in Gaza.
In today's report, the commission found that Israeli military operations and settler violence in the occupied West Bank have formed part of a widespread and systematic campaign against Palestinian civilians since October 7, 2023.
The report also accused Israeli forces of deliberately targeting Palestinian children, using sexual violence to intimidate and displace communities, and expanding territorial control through forced displacement. More than 34,000 Palestinians remained displaced in the West Bank as of August 2026.
In Gaza, investigators concluded that Israeli forces continued committing genocidal acts despite the ceasefire agreement, including killing and injuring civilians near the so-called Yellow Line.
The commission also criticized the Palestinian Authority for suppressing dissent and failing to investigate abuses by its security forces.
It called on Israel to end its occupation, dismantle settlements and return confiscated Palestinian land, while urging the Palestinian Authority to investigate violations and provide remedies to victims.

A child running from a tank. A military chasing a child.
And Israel still expects the world to believe it is acting in self-defense.
Who is really threatening whom?
This was long before October 7.

Prof. Richard Wolff: ‘The US🇺🇸 is basically the ONLY COUNTRY in the world right now that supports Israel because of AIPAC’s control over Congress.’
‘You know who learned how to play the game? Israel. We have something here called AIPAC. It is an association of wealthy Jewish and non-Jewish interest groups in this country, buying and controlling the politicians, who in turn fund Israeli wars, who in turn order the equipment from the American manufacturer.
You see, it’s the same game. It’s just this time with a foreign country playing a role which normally it wouldn’t have played, but that’s why our politics are so weird. We’re the only country that basically supports Israel in the world now.
They figured out, to their credit, the game that had to be played, but here’s the problem: everybody else is now aware of it, and so we’re seeing elections here in New York won by the candidate who is able to say about his or her opponent, “they are funded by AIPAC. They’re in the pocket of the military.”
It’s become, Hegel would have loved this as a German philosopher, it has become its own opposite, from being the guarantee of controlling the Congress. These people are now in the process of losing it for the same reason, and the socialists are going to pick up on this.’

The one GOOD thing Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump have managed to accomplish is to unite the world together in our hatred of this regime.

Three down. Three left.
The people have spoken. We have had enough of the chaos, the hatred, the corruption, and the authoritarian idiots who think the world belongs to them.
Orbán, Bolsonaro and Vučić have all been rejected by voters.
Today, Netanyahu could be next. And Trump looks increasingly likely to earn his own big red cross in the midterms.
That leaves Putin.
The rest of us must make sure Moscow gets its red cross too, by giving Ukraine everything it needs to defeat Russia’s imperial ambitions.
The age of «strongmen» is looking a little less strong. And that is a beautiful thing.
Remember when you could wake up in the morning without wondering which country was being threatened, which ally had been insulted, or which international crisis had been manufactured overnight by a man with an oversized ego?
When politics was often boring, diplomacy happened behind closed doors, and world leaders generally tried to solve problems instead of creating three new ones before breakfast?
It wasn’t a perfect world. Far from it. But there was a certain peace in not having to listen to angry old men demanding the world’s attention every single day.
Imagine getting that peace back. Imagine a world where the morning news is about progress, discoveries and possibilities, rather than the latest threats, lies and tantrums.
We deserve that world again.
