Hopefully everyone had a chance to read my post last week on BoxLang Ranges. Here is the promised Part 2, which includes 3 fun examples of completely custom ranges that can be built now using BoxLang's new IRangeable interface. Examples include Fibonacci sequences, Roman Numerals, and Musical Note ranges.

Introducing Local Template Classes in BoxLang --
This feature is now on the bleeding edge 1.14-snapshot builds and allows you to declare ad-hoc classes in bxs or bxm files which are only available locally. For the most part, they work exactly like a normal classes, but can only be instantiated in that file and require a name to be provided after the class keyword. This will also make it much easier to play around with class behaviors on try #boxlang as well.

Crunching some numbers today comparing parsing & bytecode compilation between BoxLang, Lucee, & Adobe CF. We're looking to be neck-and-neck w/Lucee, & up to 28 TIMES FASTER than Adobe CF! This is huge for app startup times. Will publish full results soon. #CFML #ColdFusion
