lando on what winning the WDC meant to him ❤️ "it was unbelievable, the same as trying to imagine what it's like to have a big grandstand! you don't know what to expect. you don't know what to think. i was able to have that realisation of what it actually is, now this is a world championship, and think of seeing lewis win it and fernando win it when i was younger, and to really live what i once saw when i was a kid. it always seems so distant and so far away and almost unachievable until it happens and it hits. obviously, one i will remember forever, and the emotions, the feelings, the last lap, the celebrations, like every single part of it. i wish i could just put it into a box and be able to relive it at any point, because they're beautiful memories."
