to further clarify, the screenshot i showed on stream was a censored version of what was shown on Atrioc's stream. it wasn't anything he hadn't already shown and the site can no longer be accessed as it was taken down a couple years ago.
there's been a lot of misunderstanding of what's happened and sadly i felt that the gravity of the situation wouldn't have been understood or believed if i didn't show the initial incident (though censored). i privated the vod because i now understand the harm even that can cause.
i've talked about this directly with the women affected, even before i made my first statement, because their feelings are and have been incredibly important to me as someone who has gone through the same thing. i've been continuously encouraged by them to share my experience and feelings (and doing my best to be mindful of them throughout). for that i'm very grateful because it feels really difficult to be in a situation where people either don't know or forgot about something that felt traumatizing.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Pokimane showed a clear full-size screenshot of the deepfake site page on her stream, while Atrioc briefly showed only a small browser tab preview of it.

so pokimane discourse im seeing is
-brought up atrioc deepfake situation again
- apparently showed deepfakes of herself on stream
- showed deepfakes of maya ???
- deleted vod (obv must delete)
What did she hope to gain by doing this. I’m deadass confused. Why even stream this tf

All of the people bleating about how traumatized Pokimane apparently was about the deepfake scandal seem to just ignore the fact that she showed a much clearer (but censored) version of what Atrioc showed on stream. For longer than Atrioc did. Absolutely insane!
Must be so traumatic for her that she brought it up on stream time and time again and all the while compromising the other victims by showing the pics from the website. Nice one
Pokimane just showed a 4K screenshot of nude deepfakes of Maya and another female streamer on her stream
When Atrioc leaked it, it was a accidental frame leak showing a barely visible pixelated window of the page
Poki didn’t even bother to blur out Maya’s pictures

No one is saying you must forgive.
Atrioc never rewrote what his mistake was or told his fans otherwise.
The only criticism people have is that you always take issue Poki when he's seen merely celebrating the happiest moment in a couples life with the victims who chose to forgive
hi everyone, i want to clarify some things about what i said on stream yesterday.
1) when he was first caught looking at paywalled, deepfake content of female streamers, it seems people forgot that the specific page shown on his stream was of me.
i didn't say much at the time because i was so uncomfortable, publicly humiliated, and i didn't think it needed explaining because it was so obviously wrong.
2) i appreciate that he spent thousands of dollars helping remove ai/df content (3000$ of which was offered to me specifically), but i've had to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars towards that same effort. regardless, no amount of money undoes what happened.
3) i'm not trying to cancel anyone or be the arbiter of who can do what. i'm simply sharing my feelings about something that publicly happened to me, and the ways in which it's affecting me today.
as he's become more involved in events and with people close to me, i've grown particularly uncomfortable. as far as i know, no one has really checked in with the women affected about how it makes them feel. other people forgiving him is their choice, but it doesn't mean i can't share my perspective on it as well.
one thing i've seen happen far too often is the rewriting of history, particularly as it pertains to issues like these, so i prefer to stand my ground so the narrative doesn't get twisted. hope this clarifies things!

Pokemane is genuinely one of the top 10 most evil streamers that are still allowed on major platforms, and super frustratingly the fact that 90% of the people who go after her are "women BAD" mysogonists allows her to get away scott free with gross slanderous shit like this

Babbsity failed to realize that when @qtcinderella drags you through the dirt, it's just messing around and having fun. But when you do the same thing back, it's harassment and you better apologize in 5 seconds or she'll shit her pants and throw a massive tantrum

The Asian community really needs to encourage their sons to get into entertainment to spare us from shit like this.

The important thing to recognise here is that Clavicular has won. Whether you think he looks good or bad here, people are solely measuring in terms of which looks hotter. You are all playing the same game.
Since SF doesn’t understand the term ABG, it stands for Asian Baby Girl or Baby Gangster.
It derives from Vietnamese and Chinese American youth that was connected to nightlife and gang culture.
Remnants of that still remain, however it is now archaic.
ABG’s are now characterized and connected to bold make up (like fake eyelashes), dyed hair (usually blonde), and EDM culture.
In my opinion, it characterizes a revolt against a societal perception on what Asian girls are supposed to be—academic, quiet, and reserved.
It has now been co-opted by SF/Tech Culture to literally describe ANY Asian Girl. I’m a SoCal native and it’s hilarious how much this term has been diluted with its entrance into the mainstream culture.
Also, an important thing to note, Asian women do NOT like being called an ABG as the characterization is generally negative.
However, to conclude, ts is weird and demeaning to Asian women.
