We must defend the freedom for which many sacrificed their lives. We must defend and protect our country’s democratic gains.
Vote ANC 🖤💚💛
Prof, you’ve spent weeks insisting Helen Zille is Johannesburg’s only hope and that the city dies without her.
She’s not winning Joburg.
Diplomacy is a vocation of patience in the midst tensions. Relations between countries generally outlast exigencies of the moment. AGOA is as important to the US as it is for RSA. It will be restored.
I have become used to my name being deliberately used to test people's craft to distort reality and create a repository of falsehoods. No lie can live forever. The time spent on feeding these hateful imaginations could be used for more meaningful acts. In the fullness of time everything else will become clearer.
Let Sunday be a gentle reminder to pause, be grateful, and prepare for the blessings of a new week. As South Africa’s elections approach, may hope, unity, and peace guide the nation, and may every voice be heard.

Replying to @bejani7
@bejani7 don’t get to demand journalists treat every association as pure coincidence while you continue to occupy the space where power, influence and unresolved matters meet.
Allegation is not evidence, repetition is not verification and proximity to political office is not proof of wrongdoing, writes Bejani Chauke ebx.sh/7CDOxT
Waiting for the day Mr Paul Oslivan calls me “Doctor and friend.” Funny, given he’s the very man the ad hoc chairperson in Parliament kept reminding to call the head of state “President,” not by his first name. Who am I to be so honoured? I even watched the General rehearse that line.
Sad, Mr General.
Small acts, big impact, supporting local businesses and community projects across South Africa is how we build lasting change. Let’s support the Department of Small Business and Development.
Thank you, South Africa, for a peaceful march. Let’s keep working together for the betterment of our country. Our brothers and sisters will complete their documentation and continue contributing to our continent’s economic growth. We are one.
The currency doesn’t run for office — it circulates. Presidents change, priorities shift, but people still spend, save, and build. Relevant every day.

[WATCH] WORK OF BLACK EXECUTIVEs SUCH AS DAN MAROKANE and MTETO NYATI
Dan Marokane arrived at Eskom and implemented, look where we are today. We defended and supported Dan Marokane because we knew he came from Eskom, as a black African civil servant who worked at Eskom for the longest of time. Dan Marokane was never in the books of the Guptas. The board under Mteto Nyati, is doing a brilliant job.

Faced with adversity, attack, and an existential threat: vaTsonga People, my People, can only say "U ta xi kuma Lexi U xi lavaka...". Loosely translated "You will get more than you bargained for”

The African National Congress (ANC) rejects with contempt the fabricated and unsubstantiated report published by sundayworld.co.za, alleging tensions within the Special National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting relating to comments purportedly made about former President Thabo Mbeki and the Phala Phala matter. The report is devoid of facts, relies on unnamed “insiders”, and represents a reckless abandonment of basic journalistic ethics and professional standards expected of the media in a constitutional democracy.
