What they don’t understand is that your confidence comes from testing, not hope. You’ve established that your strategy has an edge and understand that losing streaks are part of the game. Our job is to stick to our plan, manage our risk and give our edge enough room to play out. That’s what trusting our process looks like, even when the results aren’t going our way.

You can have a good understanding of the market and still struggle to become consistently profitable. Knowing how to identify a setup is one thing. Having the patience to wait for it, the discipline to execute it properly and the emotional control to leave it alone is another. Trading requires more than market knowledge. You also need to manage yourself well enough to put that knowledge into practice.
