When it comes to git repositories (particularly where you have multiple people working on them), which branching strategy do you prefer to use? I'm curious to see how people work and their thoughts!

Are there any NFT projects anywhere that don't rely on either: A) scarcity B) tokenomics/staking C) resale markets I have a project idea involving NFTs, but every NFT project I've seen to date is unappealing to me for those reasons, and I'd be curious to see outliers.

Today was my last day w/ the company I've been at for the last 2.5 years. That's the longest I've been with one company in 15 years in tech.

Why use Prettier if I already use ESLint? I see *a lot* of people suggest this, but ESLint does all the auto-format on save that I've ever needed. Am I just not opinionated enough about little stylistic things? @PrettierCode @geteslint #webdevelopment

TIL the JSON.Stringify "replacer" arg, great for stringifying circular objects. Tree nodes with parent references, for example: const node = { data: "" left: {} right: {} parent: {} } Omit the parent reference with: JSON.stringify(node, ['data', 'left', 'right'])

It's really obvious you weren't actually present in that 30 minute meeting when the second 30 minutes of the recording is just you sitting there.
As a frontend developer do you ever think about the time complexity of different JavaScript operations? Like Array.pop() vs Array.shift() It's good learning but I can't think of real frontend scenarios where there's enough data manipulation that it makes much difference.
Feeling really good today that Okta's plans and pricing were too complicated for me to understand, so went with something else.
Ahh, yah, busy today. Maybe talk tomorrow?

These are "true" reasons, but a "truer" reason is likely that some core values you hold are at odds with stuff happening at work. If you don't identify this dissonance, you're not going to be setting yourself up for success in future roles.
You don't like your current job? It could be because: - you're underpaid - work is hectic - you don't like the work - you don't like your boss Change your job by doing these: - prepare for 2-3 months - be focused - believe in yourself - don't give up even after rejections
