Silent from the Illinois fans in my mentions. Like they can't take the fact that they got destroyed and defended TSJ terrible actions. @1600Hardon @TeddyMassey @RC75Rocket @crice1620 @macdaddy0324 @itstheRealDLG @philsgc_ooc @BillianBrz @andrewhunter35 @NickGrunstad @DylanPavlak

Let's get into it .. ☕ Acton Mom Attack Ad
First of all anyone whose worked on campaigns (me), knows every piece of media must be labeled with "paid for by."
Under Ohio Revised Code Section 3517.20, state campaigns must conspicuously use the specific phrase "paid for by" followed by the name of the entity, explicitly banning generic terms like "paid political advertisement".
If an outside Political Action Committee (PAC) or individual buys an ad supporting a governor without the campaign's involvement, state laws usually mandate that the ad explicitly state "not authorized by any candidate" alongside who paid for it.
Furthermore....
Under Ohio Revised Code Section 3517.105 and Section 3517.20, a political advertisement that is not sponsored or authorized by a candidate's campaign (known as an independent expenditure) must explicitly tell the public that the ad is unauthorized and state exactly who paid for it.
The disclaimer must include a clear statement showing a total lack of coordination with the candidate. It must contain the Name and Address of the chairperson, treasurer, or secretary of the organization or PAC responsible for the ad.
In Ohio, if an individual is acting completely alone and paying with their own personal funds, they are entirely exempt from the political disclaimer rule.
So one or more things can/may be true:
This is a rogue actor who paid for by himself (low probability).
Vivek's camp funded it, didn't report it as a campaign expense or media, then floated it to an NPC who ran it on X.
A PAC, donor, or outside funding source paid for it, didn't reported, and floated it to an NPC.
Buckle up.
BOMBSHELL:
Ohio Democratic gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton’s own mother urges voters not to vote for her daughter.
“My name is Donna Arthur and I’m Amy Acton’s mother. I worked at Children and Family Service Association, building one of the first two sexual abuse programs in America.
I love my daughter, but when I saw her lying about her opponent—and it’s not easy for a mother to say this—but Amy has a serious problem.
She is a liar. She lies about her past. She says she grew up living in a tent. None of that is true. She’s lied her entire life.
My daughter needs help, and she can’t help you if she needs help herself. People can change, but first they have to tell the truth, and my daughter still isn’t doing that.
Don’t vote for people who lie. Don’t let her become your governor. If you think she’ll make your life better, you’re fooling yourself. It will only get worse.”
That’s one hell of an October surprise.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Donna Arthur lost custody of her children 48 years ago due to poor living conditions and charges against Donna’s husband of child molestation. Dr. Acton has not seen her estranged mother since then suggesting that Donna is unlikely to have reliable insights about Dr. Acton.

Progress for people-powered movements📈
In this amazing flip opportunity for Democrats, @KnickerbockerOH is showing us that voters are not only sick of MAGA puppets, but have had enough of the special interests pulling the strings of our politics.

I may deny saying this but 4 weeks out I think it’s more likely that Dem internal polls are too pessimistic, and that we’ll leave winnable seats on the table, than too optimistic. In 2025 VA House races, we won everything on the board which means there wasn’t enough on the board.
Do it now, I dare you.
If Republicans win the House of Representatives and the Senate in the 2026 Midterm Elections, I’m going to give all adult citizens in the United States of America, $5,000! Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to signing those checks!

This $5,000 “Trump Dividend” promise was first made in Sept. 2026. Similar prior DOGE and tariff check pledges have not been paid out. It would cost ~$1.2 trillion and require congressional approval.

Congress could actually pass laws that improve the lives of everyone rather than ruining college sports
House members have not received the Protect College Sports Act with open arms. White House isn’t happy. Neither is the Senate.
In the middle of the fight: a group of ACC schools wanting an easier exit from the league.

Gotta love the Senate instead focusing on affordability issues to help all Americans let’s focus on college sports and make them worse than they already are.
I get why Cory Booker wants this Rutgers and Seton Hall need all the help they can get…Chris Murphy is legit for some reason trying to sink UConn Basketball.
Sen. Cory Booker, with Sen. Chris Murphy, has filed an amendment to the Protect College Sports Act to cap coaching salaries at $5 million a year, per a copy obtained by @YahooSports.
It is one of 35+ amendments filed. Most of them have little chance of being accepted.
This is the sleeper race of the fall…Veteran and Nurse Practitioner Kristina Knickerbocker running against Mike Turner. A Young STEM candidate vs a Trump lackey
