I fully understand why Google would be scared of #ChatGPT. It's just such a time-saver. Instead of sifting through dozens of websites links for answers, you get the answer(s) presented on a silver platter.
And web search is just one use case for ChatGPT. It's slowly becoming my writing companion, spell and grammar checker, summarizer & rewriter, researcher & teacher, translator, personal assistant or joke generator.
