Thrilled to share my short story with you all.
‘Watch what you eat’ is one of my most daring pieces yet exploring the aftermath of herdsmen attack in plateau state.
Huge thanks to @AkpataMagazine editors for giving this twisted tale a haunted home.

The addition of red for blood was all John and it added to the uncomfortable feeling the suffocating moments in the story held.
The dog fight is also important to superimpose Odogwu’s feeling of lost control which is super important in understanding his character development.
Story and Art.
Gritty and raw, every fight scene. You have no idea how many calls, how many sketches, how many references, how many videos were sent between myself and John to represent these scenes in the appropriate tone.
