166,700 fruit fly neurons are flying a drone around a bedroom right now. One camera watches an open hand. That's the entire input. The panel in the middle is the brain itself, running live, 166,700 neurons and 25 million connections, the full reconstructed wiring of a fruit fly's head. The camera reads the hand, the brain fires, the output becomes throttle. Open palm and it climbs. Fist and it holds. Drop the hand and it comes down. Four propellers the size of a coin, hanging off a nervous system that used to belong to an insect. Here's the honest part. This isn't a resurrected fly. It's a computational model built from real biological wiring, bridged to a drone the builder made themselves. What nobody wrote is the flight logic. No PID tuning, no gesture presets, no code telling it how to hold altitude. They gave the neurons somewhere to send a signal, and it found the ceiling on its own. Eleven seconds in, it's holding altitude by itself. The fly is dead. It's still flying.

i'm very bullish on spatial interfaces for code! it's also very fun to see agents moving around as they read/write/edit files.
Ironed out the last performance issues with my full 2.5m line codebase explorer. 120hz awesomeness. Can only upload 60fps video tho. Much nicer uncompressed

I had my โ€œtouch of AGIโ€ moment yesterday. I recorded a video of myself talking through a problem: how to improve maintenance of tangled hair in the shower drain. It was a ~4 min video where I explained the problem and also used a digital caliper to take measurements. I asked GPT 6 Astra (Ultra) to come up with a fix for the problem. It took the video, extracted my voice, and matched the video frames to where I measured the parts. It came up with an idea for making maintenance and cleaning easier. I got an interactive sketch so I understand what it is talking about. I told it to use computer use in Fusion 360. I watched in real time as it designed the part, making it fully parameterized. While watching, I learned a couple of tricks, like how making a design read-only frees up one of the 10 free editable designs you get ๐Ÿ˜… Anyway, it designed it and it looked solid. I told it to add fillets. I 3D printed it, tried it, and it fit perfectly on the first try. Even though it wasnโ€™t super complex, it solved a real-world problem, probably faster than it would have taken me to wrestle with Fusion and get what I wanted.

Hi Friends, for my first project created with GPT-6 Astra, I built the entire city of Seoul in 3Dโ€”a small revolution in digital geography! ๐Ÿ˜„ This interactive 3D miniature covers all of Seoul and its surrounding areas, and you can explore it yourself. It includes: โ€ข All 25 districts of Seoul and approximately 267,000 simplified building models โ€ข Rotate, zoom, and pan controls, plus an automated fly-through of 14 landmarks โ€ข Day, sunset, and night modes โ€ข Mobile touch support The buildings were generated from real-world map data, with their shapes simplified for performance. Terrain and building heights are exaggerated by 4ร— to make the cityscape easier to see. The entire processโ€”from creating the project to completing deploymentโ€”took 43 minutes and 38 seconds minutes. Please note that the buildings are simplified models based on locations and footprints recorded in OpenStreetMap. Where height data is unavailable, estimated heights derived from the source data are used. The landmark models are interpretive recreations designed to emphasize their distinctive features, rather than survey-grade or photorealistic reconstructions of every building. The project is based on real road, waterway, elevation, and building data. โ€ข Maps and buildings: OpenFreeMap / OpenMapTiles / ยฉ OpenStreetMap contributors ยท ODbL Data snapshot: August 30, 2026 โ€ข Terrain: AWS Terrain Tiles / Mapzen ยท SRTM and other sources โ€ข District boundaries: southkorea/seoul-maps ยท Statistics Koreaโ€™s 2013 boundaries These may differ from Seoulโ€™s current administrative boundaries. โ€ข 3D rendering: Three.js โ€ข Additional components: terrain, road, and building data, subject to their respective licenses seoul-3d-atlas.synabreu.chatโ€ฆ

Iโ€™ve successfully run the full retained MaleCNS v1.0 fruit fly connectome, all 166,700 neurons, inside Minecraft, with its simulated neural activity driving a flyโ€™s movement. V1 Currently in development. Built with the help of GPT-6 Astra. Props to the @OpenAI team and @thsottiaux for this release. Code and mod coming soon!
For the first time, scientists have mapped the complete brain and central nervous system of an adult male fruit fly โ€” a key model organism in science. ๐Ÿชฐ Working alongside HHMI Janelia Research Campus and the scientific community, @GoogleResearch scientists and researchers used AI to combine millions of 2D images into 3D neural shapes, reconstructing a record-breaking 166,000+ neurons. This foundational map of the adult male fruit fly brain can help accelerate our understanding of the brain, and is a major milestone in neuroscience.

I'm kind of iffy on "skills discourse" but I think I came up with one so good that its worth sharing. The basic ask is to "describe the UX of my application completely". In doing so, agents will discover inconsistencies, bugs, and design errors that have never come up before
