In developing countries, a significant share of workers are informal and fall outside the scope of labor legislation.
Yet many informal workers still earn exactly the minimum. Why do wee see this bunching of informal workers at the minimum wage?
I’m very excited to share that I’ll be joining @Unibocconi University this fall as a PhD student in Economics! I’m truly thankful to everyone who supported me along the way.
I’m also very thankful to all the professors at @EconomiaGV for creating such a supportive academic environment. Their openness and willingness to talk with students made a huge difference, and for that, I would especially like to thank @BernardoGmrs .
Finally, I’d also like to thank @lcngreco, @ArmandoBarros96, and @GLichand, with whom I had the chance to work as a research assistant. Collaborating with them was an incredibly enriching experience and taught me a great deal about how to think about research.
