In March 2025 an internet meme landed on the Moon. I made it.
Doge in a spacesuit, captioned "I told you I'm going to the mooon!", sitting on an SD card inside a capsule in Mare Crisium.
I write software in Trento for a living. Here's how that happened ↓
The pictures this thread was missing: the artwork, a LifeShip pyramid like the one holding the SD card, and Blue Ghost's shadow on Mare Crisium with Earth overhead (photo: Firefly Aerospace).
Couldn't have happened without @CopernicSpace picking it for Moon Mission I, @goLifeShip storing it, and @FireflySpace landing it. Thanks for giving a meme a ride.
Since "my meme is on the Moon" reads like a scam tweet, receipts:
- LifeShip letter signed by founder Ben Haldeman
- LifeShip certificate of authenticity, full chain of custody
- Copernic Moon Mission I certificate: "DOGE ASTRONAUT: TO THE MOON!"
Next: a physical version, engraved on metal discs, on a later mission.

Folks, this is not America. This is Italy. AppaltiWatch reads open ANAC data, the Italian tender database, and puts 655,000 Italian tenders on a review list. One bidder. Same supplier, again and again. Awards above the estimate. Tremendous list. Italian list. Not a court. Not the FBI. Not Mar-a-Lago.
3.6 million Italian tenders loaded. About €1.9 trillion in that loaded Italian set, not one year, not the U.S. budget. Still your euros. Rome did not build the site. Citizens did. Free. No login.
So explain the Italian flags, or stop saying the pasta is perfect. Many people are saying check the CIG. They’re right. app.appaltiwatch.it

My team has hilariously proven that bad rocket camera footage is a skill issue 😅

🚀 We’re expanding our lunar commercialization model.
Copernic Space has signed a strategic partnership with Space Applications Services, beginning with the upcoming LUVMI-M lunar mission and designed to scale across future lunar + LEO missions.
This partnership brings together two critical layers of the space economy: mission execution and market infrastructure.🧵
